This is the perfect place to stay for campers going to WOMAD. The grass ‘Oval’ a Council Park adjoining the campground, is on a quiet leafy street with a bus stop outside your tent door that goes straight past WOMAD’s main gate. The small but genial kitchen & toilets are also adjoining, only the shower is a walk from the tent area. The campground is not new or fabulously modern but its tidy, clean and there is a large well maintained pool. At $50/night its not cheap for a tent site but its a lot cheaper than other accomodation during Adelaides ‘festival’ season.

Forced through unexpected circumstances to stay in Adelaide for 12 days we discovered this gem. Our cabin has a view of the river and cycle paths, is roomy and clean, and this end of the park is very quiet. Cabins not as well-equipped as I would like in terms of cooking facilities (hot plate and microwave only) and minimal tools, pans etc... but other than this it is a great little place to stay. An easy walk anywhere and everywhere on the bike paths, but also really close to both small and large shops. Easy walk into the centre of Adelaide. The welcoming host was efficient and friendly and gave us really clear directions about many things. The reception area is also filled with tourist info that is up to date and helpful, and provides a few essential staples as well as treats.

Thanks for your great review, and glad that you had a great stay- even if a forced one, sounds like it turned out to be a positive in the end! We appreciate the feedback on the cabins you stayed in, and will definitely have a look at the items included. Most of our newer cabins that we are currently installing have a 4 burner gas stove and an oven, so keep that in mind if you are in our neck of the woods again!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and gave the impression that no problem was too big or too small for them. The amenities block even had a full size bath which my kids loved. The river that the park is next to is nice for a walk. Adelaide CBD is very close and everything you could need is either at the park or within walking distance. Levi Park is within the Adelaide airport flightpath so in our tent we could hear loud planes until about 11pm but we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed 2 weeks Grenfell cabin number 21. Perfect location at the front of the park. Park has 2 entrances which was very helpful with the amount of workmen on site improving park and putting in toilets on oval next to Levi. Grounds clean and a very pleasant atmosphere. Cabin was compact and good value for money. Access to Linear Park at the back New pool well designed and maintained regularly. Cleaning staff helpful and no problems during stay. Bus stop to town 1 minute walk away. Very quiet area surrounded by nature. Return in 3 months, highly recommend.

We stayed in this very conveniently located caravan park for 5 nights recently. It was fantastic. The location is close to the city & very convenient for day trips to the Adelaide Hills & wineries. It us close to the airport so we were glad that air traffic has been minimal these days. Can’t say if it would have been annoying with the more usual levels of air traffic pre Covid. The amenities are CLEAN , which is wonderful. There is a good sized laundry. I only saw a tiny camp kitchen, looked pokey, maybe there was a bigger one I didn’t see. The park is well set out, leafy. And you can access a walking/bike track directly from the park to take you along the Torrens River. Our whole experience was ideal. Highly recommended.

Booked online for Womad accommodation. Park was well set up, easy to get around and comfortable. Best of all was the service we received at the front desk-the lady asked what we were in Adelaide for and then provided us with really useful information (bus timetables etc) and pointers to help make the most of our stay.

Thank you!

Stayed in River View Cabin for a couple of nights, park close to city, cabin has good verandah area to sit and enjoy breeze and wildlife and watch people using river paths. Cabin could do with a bit of a spruce up, showing age. Some issues with bugs & ants. Park has no pool so is a bit pricey without this amenity.

We stayed in one of the apartments in Vale House which is a heritage listed building in the Park. It was very quiet with one main room including a kitchenette and an ensuite. Very Comfortable. The park itself is ideally located being only 10 minutes out of the centre of Adelaide. Being on the banks of the Torrens 'River' there are great walks amongst the beautiful gum trees. We have stayed there before and will stay there again.

Good bits - perfect quiet location very close to adelaide cbd. Close to river & oval to keep kids busy. "Deluxe" cabin very modern and fell fitted out.

Bad bits - their shop sells out of date drinks & when brought to their attention NO refund or resolution was offered. 3 diff flavours so beware!!
Also our "deluxe" cabin had NO hot water upon arrival. Faulty gas regulators were to blame and reset myself 3 times during stay after reception staff showed me the first time, yet still charged the premium stay rates.

Thanks Branny24, sorry to hear about the drinks etc. I cant understand why the managers wouldn't have simply refunded or swapped over, I will take up with them. Yes, we have had an ongoing issue with the gas regulators on a couple of our new buildings, but as you would be aware, they are easily reset, and our staff are on hand around the clock to assist.

We stayed in Levi's for few days during summer holidays. The holiday park is closer to city's main attractions and has a small pool, play area and is surrounded by a quiet suburb. The room we stayed required a lot of work and in some cases needs a complete revamp / replacement. There were lots of cockroaches & other small insects inside the cabin, so a decent insect killer spray is mandatory. We have provided this feedback to the park management directly.
