We stayed here for 3 nights in August and wished we had booked for longer. Situated right in the forest but next to the road. Each cabin is themed-my husband was thrilled with the cowboy theme-even had cowboys on the curtains. Christine was lovely-when we were there her mum was staying-what a character. Loved the firepit with s'mores. The dogs... More

We stayed at the Fireside Lodge for one night. The room was small but very nice. There is great pride of ownership here and it shows in every little corner of the property. Wine and cheese in the late afternoon, breakfast in the morning with great waffles, and s'mores at night around the outside gas fired fire pit. If you... More

The Fireside Lodge Bed and Breakfast was a very nice place to stay with all of it's fun amenities. We were there for a very small wedding and it was awesome to have the entire place rented to the wedding party. The beds were very comfortable and my biggest complaint about hotels and b&b's is that the pillows are always... More

We stayed here on a mother/daughters weekend trip getaway. We decided to rent their two bedroom cabin (which is currently for sale). We had full usage of the amenities offered at the lodge and we were very impressed and loved it! The staff was friendly/hospitable, the grounds were well maintained and the supply of food was wonderful. Every evening they... More

We stayed in the western themed room at the end of July and felt so welcomed! We arrived late, but the staff made it easy for us get checked in. They were very accommodating. Our room was very comfortable, and after camping in the days prior it was a nice change! Chocolate chip cookies awaited us when we arrived and... More

Our family has been vacationing in Lake Tahoe for 35 years, but this was our first stay at the Fireside Lodge. When we called to book the room, all that was available was Room 10 - Mountain Retreat. It is their largest room, with a separate bedroom plus queen-sized Murphy bed that folds up into the living room wall. So... More

We visited fireside lodge during July 4th weekend. We had our Golden retriever(Splash) also with us for this vacation. This was one of the the best pet friendly places we have been to. They took really good care of us. The breakfast options were really good. For the price we paid we got so many amenities. There was a family... More

I overbooked and we did not check in on the right night but this B&B held our room for us! We liked our room (the Mariner) and enjoyed the breakfast, happy hour and marshmallow roast. It is a small and cozy lodge that is near the western end of South Lake Tahoe and next to the forest. It was comfortable... More

What a charming lodge - each room is individually decorated and the lodge provides a wide array of free amenities. Each room has a bath with a shower (very powerful water pressure and shower head), a microwave, fridge, TV, DVD player, Netflix, etc. In the lodge office they have a wide variety of board games, DVDs (for free), arcade games... We own a cabin near here but have stayed here ourselves when the cabin wasn't accessible. This is THE place to have overflow guests stay IF there is room! The owners have done a spectacular job in making their guests feel right at home in the decor, available activities & sports equipment available and the nice cocktail time & breakfast... More
