We had a wonderful stay at Alder Inn over President's Day weekend. Comfy room, warm and toasty hot tub and super friendly owners. We will likely come back for another visit and definitely recommend staying here!!

The rooms are quiet and well appointed with coffee makers, microwaves and mini fridge. Very clean. It is a easy walk to restaurants and the free bus from Heavenly will stop at the inn if you let them know you are staying there. The owners are on site and super helpful and work hard to make sure your stay is...

The rooms were spacious, well-appointed and had everything we needed - microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Loved being able to walk to the lake and the restaurants. Free shuttle to Cal Lodge and Gondola bases. We did not have a car and it was all good. The hot tub was great after a long day on the slopes. The...

We stayed there for a long weekend recently. Besides being clean and updated (for a motel), the owners The Wharry's, who live on the property, were great folks. This is a motel 5 minutes from the California Lodge at Heavenly Ski Resort. It is walking distance to a number of good restaurants and less than 10 minutes on foot from...

The inn is well located and I found it very nice. The room is well equipped and very well prepared. The receptionist was wery nice and provide all necessary information. I suggest Alder Inn either for a short stay as well as for a long one.

We stayed for 2 nights in September. The rooms are really warm, cosy, modern, clean and good amenities. Good location to get around and staff were really friendly. Would recommend and certainly stay again

We loved our second-floor room (#11) because it looked out onto Ski Run Blvd (one of the main arteries of town) and the Inn's hot tub. It felt very private! And parking was plentiful. You can tell that the property used to be a motel (in its layout), but it's been renovated very nicely and modernly and the rooms have...

Loved the location, the staff was extremely friendly, and the room was cute and very clean! Our arrival was planned for the day after a major 5 day storm so I was worried they may not be open. I called to double check and Laura reassured me that everything was up and running and spent time helping me plan our...

The Inn was close to some great restaurants and just a block away from the Lake front. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was outdoors, open year round and was a great place to relax. There is easy access to Heavenly and the owners were friendly and helpful. We will definitely recommend this Inn...
