I booked this property because it was the most reasonable at the time. We were going to a concert at Harveys and almost everything was booked solid or outrageously priced. I booked a normal king room at about 170.00/night. I booked thru Travelocity. We arrived and the grounds looked decent. The receptionist was professional but not too friendly. Other reviews...

We named it the Dog Hotel when we stayed here. The reason is that at the front of the hotel is their logo, the 3 peaks resort and beach club featuring a very large image of a dog wearing swimming trunks. The logo does not feature anywhere on their web page. From the moment we checked in to our room...

To start with, I cannot believe that this hotel received a trip advisor certificate of excellence for 2014. This was the worst experience that I have had in my76 years. How this hotel can call itself either a Resort or Beach Club is beyond comprehension. The only amenities worth anything were the pool and hot tub. There is no restaurant,...

This place was great. Check in time begins at 3pm, wish it was a bit earlier though. The property looks nice, is within walking distance to a lot of shops and places to eat/drink. Even though the hotel was booked solid, we didnt hear any noise from any neighbors. The rooms were nice as well. Smelled of bleach when we...

We stayed at 3 Peaks for two nights with our toddler. The pack n play costs $20/night to rent, and this is the only place that's ever charged us for a crib, but everything else was great. The beach is within walking distance, we were provided beach towels, and the grounds are beautiful and quiet. Most of the other guests...

I was actually pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was. We usually stay at another nearby hotel, but ended up here when the other place was already booked. We had a "parlor suite" which included a TV room/kitchen/sofabed and a king size bed in a separate room. There were 2 large flat screen TVs (one in the sitting area/TV...

There was no posted maximum nightly rate in the room. This was a violation of Californian Civil Code Section 1863 (see below). Lady at front desk was somewhat annoyed when asked the question and said she had never heard of such requirement. Well the statement of this civil code was displayed in every room! (on a placard on the door)....

They're interested in your money and little else. Old, rundown hotel that hasn't been maintained. The front desk and supervisors here are very unreasonable and unfriendly. If you need a roof over your head it's an option. That's about it. Stay elsewhere.

I always stay at Three Peaks when I visit South Lake Tahoe. It's close to the casinos and the beach. Can't beat the price. The pool is nice and they have charcoal BBQs and picnic tables. They take dogs too, which is always a plus.
