Background: Being from Vermont, we had a chance to visit a family member living near Lake Tahoe. We found Camp Richardson. We visited in early November filled with bright, sunny days. We never saw another guest during our 6 day stay; we heard there may have been another couple there while the three of us enjoyed the beauty, peace, and... More

We were supposed to stay here for 2 nights for a wedding. The hotel was fully booked for this event. Options were to stay Thursday and Friday or Friday and Saturday. We chose to check in on Friday. Somewhere along the way, there was a miscommunication either on our party's side or on the hotel's side. On Saturday we got... More

And overall had a pleasant stay. We stayed off season so there was not many people there so we had loads of space but I can imagine that it is quite cramped in high Peak as the sites are close to each other and not very big. Warning signs to keep food locked in a bear locker ... our rv... More

Incredible experience, the captain is really nice, the view from all the sides of the cruise are incredible, we didn't want to leave. Totally recommended to pass the afternoon in Tahoe. They serve drinks each one is 9 dollars, i think it should be include but apart from that is very nice.

When I first booked Camp Richardson (CR) for a reunion with friends from various places in the world, I was a little reluctant. As a group we are used to traveling and staying in 5 star resorts. But CR was highly recommended by a local friend. The pictures on the website are accurate. The hotel was a "nicer" lodge. The... More

The RV campground is large and fairly spread out with the spaces randomly numbered and fairly close together. Not a problem in the off season, though it may be a little cramped in peak season. The trees are mature and growing into some of the RV spaces, they are in need of a little maintenance - we had to saw... More

While traveling through, we decided to camp at Lake Tahoe on a Friday evening. We didn't have reservations and were beginning to get concerned about finding a place to stay for the night. Camp Richardson had availability, though their single sites were all full and their double sites were very expensive. At the front desk, the attendant took our information... More

We stayed in the campground not the resort hotel. We were able to have a tent and RV in the same sight. We had made reservations in advance and it worked well. The most interesting sight in the campground was a group of about 20 ladies traveling as a group some in classic tiny trailers. I heard the bathrooms needed... More

Very rude and strict management. We came for 2 nights with a small church group. Although we were quite and respectful the best we could be with 40 people, the camp would not let us gather at any location peacefully to do what we planned. All our plans was basic quick night gatherings, and breakfast gatherings for less than an... More
