The front desk people were perfectly friendly, but when we asked, absolutely no extras (blankets, pillows, toothpaste) could be provided. Coffee pot extension cord was stretched to the max--that kind of scene.

It can easily be rated as one of my most terrible hotel stays till date. To start with, the rooms do not have air-conditioning and they are very very stuffy if you keep the door closed. So, at night if you are not completely exhausted and just want to sleep you will pretty much get suffocated inside the room. The...

I was on the 2nd floor in a 2 full bed room. The rooms are just OK. Old brown carpets freak me out in general, so that was the first bad sign. No numbers on the doors except written on a piece of receipt paper. Top comforters were stained. Ick! Bathroom floor and showers were cracked and taped together. The...

The door signs were written in sharpie on register tape scotch taped to the side of the door. The office door broke when opening it. There were bags of garbage filling the office. The person in the office was trying to charge two times more than the price listed on here. The person in the office wad not very friendly,...

Although it seems to be a bit old, the staff is very friendly. It is improvings its installations, we got a new room, very big bed and everything was perfect. Heater works very good. I didnt have to complain for anything. Highly recommended.

After hunting for the least expensive accommodation in South Lake Tahoe, we settled on the Midway Inn. What a mistake!!! The room was dingy and dark, and I killed several large sowbugs in the bathroom. There were flying insects everywhere. While the price was excellent, you don't want to stay here. A breakfast was advertised, but none appeared. A terrible...

My room had cockroaches. The door had a simple doorknob anyone could break into---no deadbolt and not even a simple chain lock. I think this says enough, but my review must be 200 characters at least. The room had many poorly spackled patches on the walls that had cracks in them. I saw two baby cockroaches crawl out of the...

Now I am one for budget motels! I am a self professed cheapskate! I defend budget motels/dumps all day long....until now! I don't even know where to begin on this place! There is no beginning and no end to this nightmare! For all the previous reviews saying it was "fine", "okay", "just alright"....all I can say is they didn't stay...

It was fine for what it was. After staying at Park Tahoe Inn, it was DEFINITELY not worth the price. However, it was clean enough and warm so I suppose that is what matters. I would not recommend this place if you have other options, though. The owner was fine but he was not particularly nice and the bed was...
