No matter the season, we always love our stay at Stardust! The staff are like extended family and they really do want to make you comfortable. Begin with the breakfast bar, join in on the meetings and activities on site or take a stroll, catch...More
Our accommodations were very nice. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lodge is located in the rebuilt area of South Lake Tahoe near the state line. Lots of good restaurants and shops are within...More

Ask at the front desk for passes. Then check out bikes/locks and beach towels to head down to the lake. (We often pick up sandwiches at Raleys or Subway to take, though there is a small restaurant on the beach right off the entrance.) The bike ride to the beach is safe, pleasant and easy. Heading back to the Stardust is a little more of a workout! You can also opt to head to the busier beachfront area down the street. This is where you'll find restaurants, shopping and activities like parasailing. Again it's an easy bike ride there and a little more taxing heading back. Do enjoy the beaches while you're there!
