I stayed in a corner room, but it was so beautiful and clean. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I loved my view- it was breathtaking, and every room has an amazing view. I really enjoyed the pool/hot tub area too- I think it was a salt water pool, as it did not smell like chlorine at...

First (but not last) stay at the Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge. Reviewers are correct with the initial "curb appeal" of the property behind the CVS (which was handy by the way), and made the property pretty easy to find on the Blvd. But once you check in with the helpful front desk staff and arrive in your room, you will be...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We take our reviews seriously and want to let you know we have replaced the lock on that room along with several others. We look forward to your next stay as well.

Stayed in the one bedroom condominium which is located on the ground floor. Did have a lakeview. The rooms are very dated and could use some upgrading. It is not what we expected for the price we paid. The kitchen had basic items. We walked around in our socks and they were quite dirty. The size of the bedroom was...

We are sorry to hear that your experience was less than expected. I was surprised to hear that the room was dated as the condo you were in was just recently renovated about a year ago. We hope you did still enjoy your stay in Tahoe and will come back again some day.

We have been going to Tahoe for decades and have tried several other properties but once we found this one(back when it was the Tahoe Marina Inn) we were hooked. Wake up in the morning and watch a hot air balloon rising over the lake. Watch the sunset over the lake in the evening, grill outside, play on the beach...

Stunning views! Remodeled hotel rooms well done. Great bath accessories. Fireplace and deck or patio with view of lake. Private beach. Close to great restaurant. Hidden behind CVS store on south lake tahoe blvd. No traffic noise. Nice bath amenities. Spa on grounds with reasonable pricing. Friendly and helpful staff.

This lodge is HIGHLY overpriced for the accommodations. While they are on a wonderful site, directly lakefront, the rooms have NO air conditioning. Our room had old dirty windows that did not open easily, and some had no screens on them, allowing bugs to come in the room. We could not enjoy the view of the lake as our balcony...

We realize that hotel properties do take maintenance and care and we try to work on 2 or 3 projects a year. Due to Tahoe weather and busy seasons we only have a short window each year to work on major projects. We are in the process of addressing some of the items that you have mentioned. We have done...

We found this place on Tripadvisor and tried to book two rooms. No luck. Tried two other sites. No luck. Emailed the Lodge and they had rooms that were perfect for us! So was the experience. Yes, we stepped out of both rooms onto the sand and could wake in the morning to views of Lake Tahoe. Honestly, what else...

Booking online without actually being there is always scary! But, at first arrival to the Lodge, we quickly realized it was amazing and it only got more amazing as we entered the main desk area(excellent service), opened the door to our room(super clean and adorable) and then finally stepping outside our porch area.....absolutely breathtaking! You will not be disappointed:)

PROS: Location, Location, Location - this place has it. A bit off the busy 50 and Directly on the beach - unobstructed views - really great way to start and end the day. Very comfy bed and pillows - but nothing posh about the sheets or bed cover. Easy 5 min drive to NV or to great Lakes Basin trail...

We booked a condo for six nights at the beginning of August. The views were stunning and the condo excellent. It was all we could possibly have wished for. It was also serviced daily and staff were friendly. We would definitely return and stay here again some time. A truly beautiful location enjoyed in comfort.
