We planned a girls trip to tahoe and booked this hotel weeks in advance.....we arrived...there is no microwave or even a coffee pot in the room...it was pretty much empty except for the beds, the parking is horrible and confusing, and its very shady....like you feel like your in a back alley thats not safe....and they didnt have a hot... Room was too big for it's air-conditioner, so we froze our butts off. We also called ahead to confirm they had cribs and that the pools was heated. However, no cribs, and the pool was clearly closed for the season. To add insult to injury, they were very good about charging us the typical hidden "resort fee" though, without mentioning... More

968 is in a great location and while we stayed it was undergoing renovations and combining with two other hotels on the block. This was a little confusing at first as we booked, paid for and arrived at 968 but had to check in at a different hotel. By the end of 2016 it will all be fixed so don't... More

Just ok. Room was large, but felt unfinished with awkward layout. The bathroom was so tiny, the sink was placed outside, around the corner, next to the door. Parking was cramped. Check in and out was next door at neighboring property. All just very awkward, so much potential though. Location was excellent! Not sure I would stay here again with... More

968 Park and The Park Hotel in South Lake Tahoe are merging. Together they will have a new name, but the green hotel (968) will keep its hypoallergetic rooms. Beds are magnificent. Pool area beautiful with cabanas. Once re-opened, there will be light breakfast fare and wine bar re-opening too. We love to go, even for a quick getaway. Taking... More

We stayed here for two nights and would not return. The parking lot is crumbling, the railings are rusty, there is no elevator, doors open to outside, and the windows are dirty. Apparently, this place recently was renovated, but it was a poor job. Because it was new inside, the room was clean. However, the sliding door came off its... More

Beds are the only best thing- comfortable. Basic amenities. Check in from a sister property- long waiting time to get keys as the guy seems new and take his sweet time🙄 Parking is free 😊 Central location 😊

We had a great experience at Park 968 Hotel. We booked rooms for our wedding weekend back in March, through an aggregator site. There were several rooms reserved for Friday check in and two for Saturday check in. When we checked in at the hotel the reservations were all scrambled in their system. Turns out the third party sites play... More

We stayed at the 968 Park Hotel on Labor Day weekend, and had a good experience. It was pretty basic, but it was also clean, quiet and affordable, and provided all that we needed in a hotel room at south Lake Tahoe. The location was great -- one block south of the main street, right near restaurants, supermarket, stores and... More

This is my fourth property that I have stayed at in this chain and I have to say it doesn't live up to the standard that I associate with this brand. Usually these are really nice little hotels or in the case of Carmel Valley Ranch, full on resorts this property is a motel with a slight face lift. Nothing... More
