I'm beginning to loose count of the times I've stayed and Hawthorns, but every stay has been as good as the last, part of the reason I keep coming back. I've stayed in both of the rooms - the twin and the double - and both offer ample space both to sit and to work (wifi is free), very comfy...

I stayed here for 6 nights while visiting family in the UK. Rooms were clean and comfortable with TV and wifi access and en-suite bathrooms. Sally and Chris are both extremely friendly and made my stay a pleasure. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

My husband and I stayed in the double room on a gloriously sunny Saturday. From the moment Sally opened the front door, we were made to feel at home. The room was immaculate and tea/coffee making tray generous. Sally offered fresh milk which was a nice touch. The bathroom was very well appointed and again, immaculately clean, with toiletries provided....

My husband & I stayed here in the double room for one night this week. We chose it because we had stayed here before. The welcome was just as warm & the breakfast just as good. The room is very comfortable & the en suite bathroom is spacious. The photographs on the website will give you a good idea of...

We loved staying at Hawthorns, loved our room with the two single beds. Wonderful big bathroom, nice breakfast room and sitting area. Breakfast was also excellent. Sally and Chris are very helpful when you are planning your day. Sally is a very nice lady. So very quiet, lovely trees to look at. A great spot.

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife and son for a motorbike meetup at the nearby Bat and Ball pub. This B&B is absolutely perfect and we were greeted warmly by Sally. Everything we needed was provided and Sally was always around to say hi. We were even given some books and toys to keep our son entertained. Breakfast was...

3 of us took over both the comfortable bedrooms for 4 nights. We were made extremely welcome, fed wonderful breakfasts and would happily return. Nice touches, there is a sitting room for guests and a eclectic selection of reading matter. Very quiet, good local pubs, perfect for exploring the beauty and peace of Sussex.

Needed a one-night stay, but had had enough of the 'lodge' variety and wanted to avoid noisy pubs. Hawthorns is first class - clean, comfortable, tranquil, well-appointed and a great breakfast was provided. Second vist already booked! B&JG

An absolutely delightful B&B in a charming English village with lovely local pubs nearby. What more could you ask for? Our room was lovely & breakfast excellent - will certainly stay there again when we are in the area.
