Clean and comfortable bungalow. Nice resort. Good restaurant. Great staff. However, their site led me to believe there would be yoga on site. There was not. Also the spa was disappointing. Lovely staff, but massages were below par. Booked the 130 minutes treatment but was left alone for half an hour of that. The full body massage was okay. The ‘Ayurvedic’ head massage was anything but that and very short. As was the sea salt foot spa and massage. If you are a diver this is a great place to go as they have their own diving school and daily excursions. If you want nothing more than to relax, sunbathe and eat lovely food this is also fine. But if you book for yoga and spa treatments (as had I), forego this place. However lovely the setting and the staff might be.

This place could not be more beautiful with the most lovely and helpful staff. Gorgeous villas, many oceanfront, with a pool from someone's dream. Recommend their driver Budhi- great teacher, smart, funny, informed, so kind. Not just a great driver but a thoughtful and real person.

Room Tip: The coast is very rocky here, with much larger rocks. Good for diving: they have their own dive...

The location is right on the ocean and is wonderful. The buildings are in traditional Balinese style. We had the 2 bedroom villa, not sure why as it was just 2 of us. It had a wonderful porch with daybed as well as a large green space oceanfront . The staff are very friendly and helpful but seem to be a bit disgruntled as they had very little hours of work. We noted that none of the staff called us by name. We we’re identified by our room. There was a yoga pavilion that was used by a private group, so there was no opportunity offered to the other guests. It would have also been helpful to have an orientation when we got there, for example we did not know about Happy Hour until about 3 days in. A few things to consider to make this prime location a 5 star are the following. The mattress was super uncomfortable, we had backaches every morning. The buildings, although charming, could use updating. Ie, our toilet broke 2x. We we’re there 8 days and the breakfast became same old same old. Dinner menu could have incorporated a daily chef special. Right on the ocean, you’d think a catch of the day would be lovely. The resort attracts many” charming Germans” tourist. Let’s just say not a lot of opportunities to connect with the other guests. Perhaps expand the promotion to other countries. We saw a gym and gift shop, neither was open or accessible. No explanation given. The one thing that upset us the most that we we’re told ahead of time that we couldn’t get a taxi from the airport to the resort as it’s 3 hour drive. We found out later that indeed you can for a much lesser price. Taxi charges about $50 verses resort $120. This dishonesty will make us not return. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

I had a great stay in this amazing resort, it was quiet and relaxed during my stay here. The staff is amazing, the booking team (especially Samy) is always reachable and open for a call 👌 We had few dives, the guides did a great job, we saw an amazing underwater world in several rare fishes, especially for Makro photography the place is awesome! We slept in a sea view house, the accommodation was a bit older but we loved the “Balinese” style of it! The restaurant is good, they served great food but, bit price but worth it. Thank you dear Alam Anda, we will come back in 2023!!! Stay safe, Ulli

Stayed in Alam Anda for 12 nights for diving the north-east coast of Bali. Excellent beach front resort with very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. The rooms are separate bungalows in balinese style with a close to nature feeling. They are clean and comfortable. The restaurant with an ocean view serves both international and balinese courses. Service is quick and attentive and I only had well prepared and tasty dishes. The dive centre on the resort is called Mavi Diving. Very knowledgeable and accommodating high quality dive guides. Even with 23 dives there, they were able to provide new experiences for me every time. Also at the dive centre the staff was a pleasure to be around. Only drawback is that the resort is a little pricey compared to the south coast of Bali, but to me the total experience was well worth the price. Can be recommended both as a quiet getaway and as a base for diving the northeast coast.

I absolutely loved this resort. From the moment you set foot in there you can start relaxing. They welcolme you so kindly, take you to your room or even give you a tour of the place if you want. The hotel service aims to please you and they really go their way to make you feel better than at home. The spa is a must see & must do! The diving school right there offers such an amazing opportunity to explore the ocean. If you dont dare to dive, you can snorkel at the hotel´s reef - which was also so worth-seeing! The restaurant offers a variety of internationals meals that are to die for but I really recommend you to try the balinese dishes! Everything is made and cooked with care and love. I honestly cannot wait to come back to this amazing hotel, I had never felt such at peace!

This resort is at the North end of the island, about 2 hours from the nearest major tourist hubs. That was perfect for us and exactly what we were looking for. The grounds are immaculate, the setting is beautiful, the food is great (local and international), and the staff were just wonderful. So friendly and accommodating, they really made the stay. We were in Villa Lumba Lumba and it really is something quite special.
