The Loft Cabins are lovely, clean, well-equipped. Such a comfortable bed. But the truly extraordinary thing about this place is its astonishing location. My husband and I are back in the bustle of Sydney now but are still in slight awe of the beauty of surrounds we've just experienced at Nirvana Retreat. What a privilege to be able to sit with a coffee on our own secluded balcony gazing at the ancient trees in the rainforest valley around us. Thoroughly recommend this rare gem.
Its a long, bumpy road into the retreat but lovely to be welcomed by the cows and horses and finally Ingrid. It was sprinkling with rain and everything was so green and lush and cosy. Sitting on the balcony having dinner overlooking the rainforest was peaceful and pretty. The bed was comfortable and the loft bedroom delightful. We had a great stay, Thanks Ingrid, you were the best !
I am short of words to explain beauty of this hidden paradise. I am surprised its just 3.5 hours from Sydney. Very well kept. Excellent hospitality, customer service from management. Excellent value for money. Love bush walks, Rain forest walk. Very comfortable and clean rooms. We were group of 8 and everyone enjoyed the time.
We sought a getaway where we could take our dog along with us and enjoy time in nature, doing bush walks and relaxing. We found that at Nirvana Spiritual retreat! The drive out there was enjoyable with lovely views and once we got there we settled in for 4 nights. We loved every minute of it, from relaxing in our cabin (or on the deck), listening to all the bird calls (and trying to photograph the birds) or doing one of the many walks with our fur baby (who also loved it), to relaxing at night, cosy and warm with the fire crackling away. We stayed in a romantic loft cabin and found it delightful. It was clean and comfortable (especially the bed), with a functional kitchenette and a corner spa in the bathroom. We did most of the walks, starting with the 2 steepest first (be prepared for a work out!) and ending with the yoga walks. The rain forest walk was especially pretty. When we weren't walking or relaxing, it was a joy to hang out with the rescued animals on site - the lovely horses and ponies, Mary the cow and the happy chooks and ducks, whilst admiring the beautiful views. Ingrid looked after us well and is such a lovely soul, as was Rajesh, who we enjoyed spending time chatting with. We felt very welcomed and at home here and would love to return to spend some more time in nature and with the animals - to "just be".…
Stayed for four night during the winter school holidays. Staff are friendly and the view from the loft cabins great. Really enjoyed the well signposted walks. Especially the Walk of Gratitude. The kids were very excited by the horses that are allowed to roam free around the site and by the chickens which laid us a couple of eggs. The cabins are really good. Nice spa bathtub and the heating system worked great during these cold months. There’s also a tennis court with free racquet hire and a basketball court which my oldest loved. One tiny criticism would be I think the cabins could be a little cleaner between guests. I know the guest who stayed in the same cabin the day we checked out and she felt the same. Apart from this I’d definitely book again.
