We were introduced to Pat & Geoff a couple of years ago by their neighbours and we never thought we'd be staying there. However there was a bit of a do and we all had to find accommodation. We weren't disappointed. An extra special welcome from Pat who offered all six of us tea and biscuits on arrival. We all...

We have stayed at cliff farm every year for about 7 years. We were there again (12th 13th 14th july) & once again Pat & jeff were brilliant hosts. They seem to treat you as family, chatting in their own front room or having a really pleasant cuppa (sometimes something a little stronger) at 'The Sundowners Arms'. The food, accommodation & the welcome is...

Cliff Farm is tucked back off the A-road, under a steep hill, with sheep in the paddock in front and behind. The Royal Military Canal was at the end of their drive 1/3rd of the way along from the Winchelsea end - so a perfect place to stay for anyone intending to walk the canal. I thought it was lovely....

We would like to say Thank you to Pat Sullivin, our host on the Cliff Farm, B & B. She made our stay very enjoyable and offered us help whenever wanted. We liked her nice and homely house very much. The breakfast she cooked and served together with her husband Jeff was not only typically English with all the traditional...

What a welcome we received when we recently stayed in Cliff Farm. The hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful and their knowledge of the local area enhanced our visit enormously. Breakfast was superb, accomodation comfortable and warm. Loved every minute of our stay

Cliff Farm. A farmhouse that I wouldnt mind living in myself. Warm friendly welcome from Pat and Geoff, tea and coffee on arrival. Cosy en-suite room with views over the marshes. Sheep wandering round, even saw a badger (a live one at that) running down the drive. Hot, filling breakfast with stacks of toast and definately NOT Asda bacon or...

Having got a last minute night off work my girlfriend and I decided to make the most of our weekend by heading to Rye with the bikes for a little escape. A colleague recommended the place to me after staying a few months before and he was defiantly right to do so. I booked over the phone that morning (I...

Our experience with Cliff Farm was great from start to finish. The booking process was simple with prompt responses directly from the owners. The farm itself is well signposted from the main road, and is in a lovely setting, surrounded by fields with sheep watching you enviously through the window as you eat one of Pat's glorious homemade English breakfasts!!...

Had a wonderful time, owner Pat was very welcoming and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Greeted by a lovely wood burn fire, very cosy and homely. As for the below 'terrible' review, I cannot understand the comments made, the place was very clean and well run. Fantastic cooked breakfast, would definitely recommend, great value for money!

We had a last minute invitation to a party in Rye and had difficulty booking in at anywhere, so we decided we would take a gamble and drive down. We called into a pub b/b, they were full, and gave us directions to Cliff Farm. Well what can I say, our welcome was probably one of the warmest ones we...

“I had room 2 overlooking the back of the farm and saw the pet sheep every morning, pheasants, rabbits and a hare all running around the hills behind the house. My parents had room 3 overlooking the marshes at the front of the house and loved the tranquility. The bathrooms and everything are clean and lovely.”
