Dear friends,
Please kindly note that we strongly recommend a car for Lefkas, as Lefkas has got many beatiful places such as the waterfalls in Nidri, the Porto Katsiki beach, the Egremni beach, the Exanthia village and many more must see places that one has to drive in order to reach them!
More over please also kindly note that Idilli Villas Lefkada have got magnificent sea views from the balconies of the villas since they are situated 120 meters above ground level of Agios Nikitas village and approximately around 800 meters from the entrance of the pedestrian zone of Agios Nikitas village.
Please kindly note that there is a 10 minute walk down to the pedestrian zone from Idilli Villas Lefkada but the road is a bit steep to walk back (although it is a tarmac road) and we do not recommend walking back as it is around 20 minutes from Agios Nikitas beach and someone needs to place effort to do it. (However almost 30% of our guests only go by walking down to the village and up to the villas as they find it a terrific exercise and they leave their cars parked outside our private car parking, for greater distances!)
Moreover there are no taxis in Agios Nikitas (you have to call them from Lefkas city center - 12km away), as inside Agios Nikitas village, cars are prohibited in order to preserve the traditionality of this beautiful village!
However please kindly note that there are two car travel agencies right in front of the village, a very big car parking right outside of the village and a private car parking right in front of Idilli Villas Lefkada!
