I didn't stay at The hotel overnight. I came to visit and have lunch. It was a dream that came true, thanks to my husband. The Castle is right by the city of Bevilácqua, a little charming community in the province off Veronese, Italy. I had my personal reasons to visit this place, as I am a Bevilácqua myself, but...

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this amazing hotel. We had a car and used the hotel as a home base as we toured various wine regions. We stayed from a Monday and Wednesday and the hotel was very quiet. We felt like we had the castle to ourselves! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us...

We travelled a little out of our way to visit this castle. Whilst it is great to see that the castle is being used I thought it needed some TLC to bring it up to speed. The grounds are a bit despressing and inside needs some love but hey if you are into castles def worth a visit. I am...

Dear Janeane, thank you for visiting our Location and for your review. In order to make the Castle lively, the staff put lots of love in their job. Thank to this the Castle is open to the public with different services (visit, restaurant, hotel, banqueting). We hope to see you again in Bevilacqua. Best regards,

We really wanted to spend in a castle while in Italy and this was the one we choose- what a great choice! The room was beautiful and the bathroom amazing. The vanity was gorgeous and was such a treat to have a spa bath (or two) after the tiny Italian showers elsewhere. The staff were very helpful and friendly and...

If you are dreaming about living in a castle, your dream can come true in Villa Bevilacqua! Amazing location in the middle of the countryside. A kilometer from the castle there is also a beautiful medieval village. The food of the Villa is simply delicious, the personnel is very professional and discrete. The ratio price/quality I believe is quite fair,...

This review is based upon staying at the castle as a hotel, not a restaurant review. Their focus is as an event facility so they come up short as a place to stay. We were a party of five adults staying for two nights. There are no bellmen to haul luggage up the tower room stairs. The controls for the...

Researched on the top castle hotels in Italy and Castello Bevilacqua was always on the top 5. Getting there via train is an adventure in itself. We were coming from Pisa and took 4 different trains. Enjoy the Italian countryside on the way. Once we arrived, their friendly staff escorted us to our room and wow! Felt like living in...

Great place for one night but doesn't work as a hotel, free tourist attraction and wedding venue all in one. Tourists can wander around all floors and tried to get into our room, we also felt in the way picnicking in the garden as the entire venue was booked out for two weddings and the restaurant was fully booked for...

As the brochure says, "Una Notte per sognare", translates to "A night for dreaming". This beautiful castle, built originally in 1336, has undergone considerable changes and restoration throughout it's years. The most recent incarnation is a loving restoration showcasing the beauty of days gone by. We stayed in a beautiful tower room with a large "royal" bed with flowing gossamer...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Legends say that the historical residences have a soul, but there are some castles which are so old that their basis have been changed into roots, and their charm has been unchanged in the course of time. In the heart of the Verona plain, between the cities of Verona, Vicenza, Padova and Rovigo, there is an authentic castle of the fourteenth century: it is the Relais Castello Bevilacqua. A magic place suspended between the past and the present, a historical residence that hosts events and offer enchanting holidays. Let you be captivated by emotion, let you be seduced by tradition. In the heart of Veneto you are the guest of history, you are the guest of Relais Castello Bevilacqua. ... more   less
