My wife and I have stopped here for meals on a regular basis on our many trips from Cardiff to Abergele and have never been disappointed so we decided to spend a couple of nights there as well because they had a special two night break on offer. The accommodation was fantastic, we were warmly greeted by a young lady...

This is a cracking hotel. I guess we were lucky because we were only people staying there but food service and staff were spot on. Great place to stay whilst photographing low level flying jets. Stunning country side near by as well. Will be going back

We called here, short notice , on a wet Saturday afternoon asking for a table for eleven people. Despite it being busy, we were easily accommodated. The food was superb, every one of us had something different and we all agreed it was fabulous! The staff were friendly and helpful and the chefs never stopped! Had the weather not been...

The staff were very helpful. We got there too early to book into our room so we had Sunday lunch first. I couldn't fault it, neither could my partner. And the prices were quite reasonable. Room was delightful, very clean and fresh. Breakfast was a choice of many. You could have a full welsh breakfast or just some cereal. Overall...

We had one evening meal out during our week away and chose the Cross Foxes based on previous reviews,so we had high expectations, maybe too high. The building is lovely and the staff very welcoming. We were offered a drink at the bar, which we chose to take to our table . Unfortunately it started with a wobbly table and didn't really...

This was our second stay at the Cross Foxes. Our first was 3 years ago on our Honeymoon and that stay was amazing. We returned over the weekend for my Husband’s Birthday. The welcome was warm and genuine. The staff are all very individual but so lovely, Sionned and Nigel in the Restaurant were delightful (Thank you). A lovely touch...

I also ment to add to my review, the place was lovely and clean, modern and fresh, very welcoming , we would book a room and use here as a base to go and look around the area, the area is also the most beautiful in autumn, with the colours in reds, orange, golds and browns.

Absolutely nothing derogatory to say. Tender Welsh lamb main, white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. All four of us had excellent meals. Makes me keen to return to Wales SOON! Lovely decked area with stunning views to sit out if the weather warrants. Staff friendly and professional. 2 course meal with drinks was around £80.

Really expensive for a hotel Other than that, it was ok. Food was...... Meh The rooms were decent as well as the service. About a mile from the town centre. Dollgethlau. Drinks bar was medium size. Ratings out of ten would be seven. P.s bathroom looks hideous.
