Stayed at this caravan park for three nights overlooking the river with MONA Museum to the right - a very quiet little place which we thought was amazing for us considering we had a campervan. The amenities were a little outdated but kept clean. Staff were more than helpful in explaining what was on in the area. A great place...

Great for the budget concious person. We stayed in a cabin and it was very basic. The tv kept losing reception. The sliding door did not close properly, the couch was very low and extremely uncomfortable. The best thing about it was the water pressure in the shower. There are ducks that come for a feed which would be great for children.Close to...

This is a great little caravan park but unfortunately it is located right next to some sort of treatment plant. Every time a gust of wind blew our way we would get hit with a bad smell! The communal area was very old and tired but the showers/toilets were clean and tidy. I wouldn't mind too much if it was...

In generic I got to know the Australians as very nice people. Also camped the majority of my life and call myself experienced in that topic. You have luxurious campings, simple campings and one is cleaner than the other. But both the Australians and camping people are in generic friendly. Just had the worst experience in my life on this...

Stayed 2 nights in a cabin and 1 in an onsite van. Good location with easy access to MONA, the cadbury factory and only a 15 min drive into the city. It was heaps cheaper than anything else we could find in Hobart and, although fairly old and dated, the accommodation was very clean. The cabin was spacious and had...

Our unpowered site was great- right next to the water, the ground was clean and the facilities were very clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly & helpful. It was fantastic seeing ducks & ducklings everywhere and they even sell healthy duck food at reception. We will definitely stay again. 15-minute walk to MONA and 10-15 minute drive to the...

Cabin was overpriced and very outdated. Only has a plug in fan heater that does nothing. Wasn't very well cleaned when we came in. The waterfront is disgusting. Probably the worst standard of accommodation I have ever stayed in. This park needs some serious money spent on upgrades.

We recently stayed at treasure island caravan park berriedale for 2 and a half weeks because we had a medical emergency in the family. We live in the north of Tasmania and had to go to Hobart Hospital. The staff of the caravan park were so very helpful and accommodating to us. Would not hesitate to recommend the park to...
