Could not fault the receptionist or staff. The room was as expected for the Ramada brand name. Everything we needed. Very large room. No face washers for some reason? Hume highway just out the front but nil issues with traffic noise. The restaurant was great.
I stayed at this Ramada overnight and was greeted by very helpful and friendly reception staff. Kudos! I had large luggage and couldn't, ahem, lug them up the stairs (the hotel doesn't have lifts), so the receptionist promptly got me a new room. The layout of the hotel itself was a bit surprising - I didn't realize from the photos it would be laid out like a US motel, replete with parking spots etc. The room itself was just OK - a bit worn, but amenities-wise everything was present and proper - wifi was also not bad. But the service elevates what is ostensibly a 3-star score to 4 stars - it's always great to have friendly and helpful reception to make your brief stay pleasant.
Hotel has a resort feel and is very nice place to stay. The room furniture and fixtures are of a high quality and once I got the queen bed it was very comfortable. The TV, air con, hot water was all in good working order. Just make sure to book/pay in full online beforehand because paying direct to hotel is actually more exspensive and not even same day verbal quotes are honoured. And as far as this front desk being “open” 24hr it’s defintely using the term loosely considering my attempt to update keycards at 5.30am involved spending 5 mins waiting outside the locked glass doors until a security guard approached asking “what are you doing here?”(can I help you would have been a lot more polite) Once I showed my key card I was then allowed inside only to approach the desk only to be told to “come back later” without even telling what time, I had to specifically ask him for which I was told after 7am which is perfectly fine but why not just advertise front desk operational hours as ‘7am-whenever’ instead of saying 24h and then having guests feeling like they caused an annoying inconvenience to the staff.…
Good location and free parking were the highlights here. The lounge with missing legs was obviously obtained from a share house. The exposed wiring next to bed just looked dangerous. Reception said on check in that it wasn't one of their best rooms. They weren't lying.
Perfectly reasonably sized/appointed room for the price point. Nice gym and pool area Spacious bar area. To get more than an average rating you need to stand out in some respect and it just didn't. Select Foxtel channels are advertised on the hotel website but are not actually functioning - COVID cost-cutting has been around for almost a year. Could have updated the website by now. Booked through Ramada website with my Diamond Wyndham Rewards included in the comments for the hotel but absolutely no elite recognition offered - no upgrade, just standard room, no welcome amenity. Could do better with a little more effort. One real positive was they took their COVID precautions seriously.
easy to drive to parking was no problem.reception was friendly we stayed in room 129 which was in a quiet part of the motel which was good the room was big had a lounge,2 table&chairs, mircowave good size bathroom the bed was comfy.close to liverpool great location.
Hotel Staff was polite and friendly. Check in and out were quick. However there are some issues that I 'd like the hotel management can improve such as - The mattress was too soft and my back was hurt after 2 nights sleeping on it. - The free wifi was hopeless. - Some bath towels were a bit old and need to be replaced.
Absolutely loved our stay here, fabulous accommodation and very affordable!! Definitely recommend if you are trying to find a quick one night stay near sydney and don’t want to spend over $200. included breakfast for $150 which i thought was great!
The Ramada is close to my home and ideal for a short break away to rest and rejuvenate. I found the room to be clean and comfortable with a decent bed, working air con and the usual amenities. The bar food was very good and reasonably priced. I was allowed to check in a bit early, which was also really nice and the parking is free, an added bonus. My only criticism is that there is nowhere quiet to sit inside - the lounges are very close to reception and right next to the area where people are enthusiastically watching, and commenting on, the races and the poker machines. This made it difficult to carry on a conversation or enjoy a bit of peace without retreating to the actual hotel room. The dining room also doesn't seem to be open on a Sunday night, but this did not bother me at all, although others might find it annoying.…
The staff are always friendly, it’s been a smooth transition from reception to our room both times we’ve stayed. The rooms are clean. All the amenities you need for a quick getaway. The restaurant food (we ordered in room) was exceptional. A very enjoyable stay on both occasions thank you, we’ll be back again.
