What can I say? The setting itself is charming, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, and the food and service in the restaurant was very good indeed. Very 'home comfort' in its feel. Delighted that work booked me in here.

Such a beautiful hotel. Unique and old world. Staff are second to none. Shannon in the restaurant is such an asset nothing was too much trouble, chatty and knowledgeable. The manager was so helpful, all staff were a credit to such a lovely hotel. Beds so comfy and bathrooms were luxurious and I stayed in a small double (just me)....

Enjoyed our stay here, the room was lovely and everything was peaceful during the night. Bathroom very clean and modern and everything worked just fine (apart from the radiator which I could not turn down so extra warm hence 4 out of 5, problem solved with a blanket). The bar is well stocked including the finer tipples and a nice...
