Have always been passed this place on our way back from Shrewton so we decided to stop and have some Lunch. They managed to get us a table even though we did not have a booking The food was fantastic and the staff very helpful.

This pub is right next to the A303 so we expected some road noise, however, we did not hear any. There was noise from the fridges and freezers from downstairs which disturbed my sleep. The light switch for the shower room was awkward to get at being behind the door and any tall men would have difficulty using the loo...

Great beers good atmosphere. Decent food. Interesting people . It allows dogs for those just been on the local shoot. Beer is fairly priced snacks and food is really nice possibly slightly on the dear side but as a night out in a semi rural pub, good times.

Dear Customer Thank you for your email. I am saddened to see your review as we remember your visit and at the time I believe a member of staff came back to ask if everything was ok but nothing was said. We would have gladly replaced your drink. Burgers have to be cooked through, health and safety dictates this but...

Dear Customer Firstly thank you for your email as it means a lot to have honest feedback. Regrettably after having such a busy weekend a couple of the starters had sold out, for this we apologise but glad you managed to find something else. I have spoken to the staff and as far as I am aware they did everything...

Booked a table for 4 on Saturday evening. Service was slow in the restaurant, we ordered our food before we sat down in the restaurant whilst having a drink by the bar. Three of us ordered steak and the other fish. Two steaks were supposed to be rare and the other medium rare. When the meal arrived two plates were...

Many pubs find catering for a table of 9 people a challenge, not here- delightful service, great food. Almost everyone in the group chose a different menu item, yet we were in and out within the hour - perfect. My Canadian and American guests were delighted.

We randomly came across this lovely Inn for a break whilst on our 280 mile journey west. The Inn is just a very short distance off the A303. We received a friendly welcome and enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast beef lunch, promptly and efficiently served. Thank you
