Nestled in the foothills of the Otway Ranges; A two hour drive from Melbourne and only 25 minutes from Lorne, King Parrot Cottages offer the perfect holiday retreat for couples, families and large groups. Six architect-designed, fully self-contained, one to four bedroom cottages can accommodate from one couple to 14 people. Each offers comfort, character and privacy. The lodge and hall has stunning views of the valley, all of our other cottages have beautiful native bush views. The 200 acre property fronts the Pennyroyal Valley creek and there are many bush walks along the creek or through our forest into the Otways National Park. It is a nature lover's paradise with many different types of parrots and other birds, including the wedge tailed eagle and our own mob of kangaroos. Enjoy a game of table tennis, in the games room, a swim in the pool, a workout in our small gym or grab a book from our leave a book take a book library, relax in a hammock and take a breath of fresh air. We have horses, donkeys and alpacas as well as our resident dog Frankie.
