Resort is cleverly designed as separate little huts that have an upstairs and downstairs apartments. Typically one bedroom and a separate living/dining/tiny kitchenette adjoining a balcony. Common single door entry with shared laundry. The units are old and tired and there is a wide variation in quality between units as some are individually owned. Shared central pool area is nice, but family oriented so be prepared to have one or two screaming kids ruin your poolside relaxation. Be aware there is no sound insulation between the ground floor and first level residence. The lower apartment ceiling/upper apartment floor is poorly constructed of lightweight timber and sound is directly transmitted to the apartment below. We had a young family of mum, dad, child who were up at 5am every morning and clumped around, ran around, played trampoline on our ceiling and dropped full suitcases repeatedly on the our ceiling. We spoke to them about the noise but they weren't interested. Young child and all. Under no circumstances book a lower level apartment.

We are sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. We are a family friendly resort with the choice of 3 pools to relax around which we believe gives couples and families different options for their needs. We apologise for the people above making noise which is out of our control. If you had spoken to Reception instead of directly to the guest, we could have helped to find a solution to make your stay more enjoyable.

This time, a great disappointment. Having previously stayed at Noosa Lakes we were looking forward to more of the same..........WRONG ! We discovered to our cost that there are units within the resort that are old and very tired ! Worn stained carpet, sub standard bathrooms, a very smelly fridge were just some of the disappointments.Add those things to the normal problems there of difficult (or no) parking, sometime you have to park outside in the street, and the fact that if the unit upstairs is occupied, the never ending noises of their clomping around the wooden floor will drive you to distraction ! No more Noosa Lakes Resort for us!

We are sorry to hear your recent stay did not meet the expectations you experienced during your previous stay. Our reception staff are always more than happy to address any issues our guests may have if they are brought to their attention during your staff. We are unable to rectify any concerns after guests have checked out. There is a choice of unit categories when booking which enables our guests to choose either renovated apartments and also ones that come with an allocated car parking space. There are also options of upstairs or downstairs units to choose from for location.

I was really looking forward to staying here as we paid the extra for the lake view room..what a disappointment all we looked out in to was unkept scrub. We were also giving a downstairs room which was so so noisy from the noise of the people upstairs walking around till late at night and early morning. The rooms are getting old and need a refurbishment too and there is not even a toaster in the so called kitchenette.😞

We have stayed here at least 7 times over the last few years, stayed in both the studio downstairs and the upstairs 1 bedroom. Obviously no major complaint. I recall once we had a unit with dodgy internet but usually very good to excellent. I read with some amusement comments about the decor being dated??? What on earth are these critics on about? Would they like to the see the place upgraded each year to satisfy their own unique tastes??? The one thing I would suggest that management could do better at is to equip the kitchens with either more or better set of pots, pans utensils - adequate as it is, but needs to better for a longer stay. At least these days the reception is more accommodating when it comes to requests for more wash powder for the dishwasher and laundry - once upon a time you would get the bare minimum and then have to pay for a couple more sachets. People have said "you get what you pay for" and this is true. The resort is in a very convenient location but not in the heart of Noosa so at around $160 a night for return travellers in school holidays it is quite reasonable, not exactly budget but hard to find anything comparable at a better price. We have now bought a house on the SC so not sure if we will be back again but if we need shorter term accommodation waiting for our house to be vacated, we will not hesitate to stay here one last time.

Nice units. Getting a bit dated but clean and tidy. We had an upstairs unit, which gave us a nice view overlooking the trees and lake (other units over look the pools). Internet is ok, if you don't want to view movies or play games, it then drops out. Easy check-in with pleasant receptionist. 5 min walk to Marina, which is where ferry leaves from plus nice eating places. 10 -15 min walk to Tewantin shopping center, which includes a large RSL. 15 min walk the other way is Noosaville with more shops and cafes.

The resort itself is fine, quiet, good pools, good location, close to river and restaurants, however the WiFi is terrible, drops out constantly. Disappointing in this day and age when so much of our leisure and business requires reliable internet service.

We stayed 3 nights in a studio apartment. The studio was equipped with all we needed to enjoy our stay. There was a small kitchenette with a microwave & kettle; large flat screen tv, dining table, ensuite bathroom as well as laundry facilities to be shared with the studio upstairs. There is a lovely outdoor pool area which would be very popular during warmer months. The resort is well situated with a bus stop out the front. Weekend transport is free locally which was great for us as we stayed over the weekend. The resort is 30 minutes from the famous Eumundi market and there are also multiple restaurants & bars to choose from. I’d avoid the bowls club if you value your hearing. The RSL is just over the bridge and is good value for money. Overall we found the resort value for money. We did however find a lot of noise filtered through from the upstairs studio. At one point I woke up thinking there were someone in our room it was that loud. We also experienced what felt like an earth tremor but are unsure if there was seismic activity or if this related to activity in the adjoining studio. The kettle also turned on by itself and we needed more coffee sachets that what the resort provide.

I stayed here to participate in the Noosa Trail festival. The motel is really nice. Room was perfect, bed was comfortable, kitchen facilities etc were top notch. I didn’t use it on this stay but the swimming pools are awesome and location is good with the marina a short walk away. It’s a 10 minute drive to Hastings street. I only marked them down as they accidentally overcharged me by an extra days accomodation and had to wait for a refund but apart from that I would have given it a 4 or 5 star.
