Quiet and relaxing location in beautiful surroundings. Cabin very comfortable and well equipped with town close by for any forgotten supplies. Do as little or as much as you like exploring the hinterland or heading to the beaches. Highly recommended.

What a hidden treasure this is. 3 cottages on the one block of land, as well as the owners house. But the cottages are all very private (I recommend the Ned Kelly as the best and quietest). Each cottage is SO well laid out, and very tastefully decorated. Everything you could want is in this compact space but in no way did it feel cramped. They have thought of everything, from all kitchen utensils, to a pack of cards, as well as a BBQ on the verandah. Fresh flowers were in our room, which was very welcoming. There is a swimming pool seconds walk away through the lush garden. There is wifi in the room (although you can only use one device at a time). Not far down the road in Woombye is the local pub which served excellent food.
I really recommend this place if you want a quiet, tranquil place to stay (particularly the Ned Kelly cottage, as I don't think the other 2 are quite as private or quiet) Not really a place for children although I don't know if they specify who can stay there….

Although only overnight at the cottage, I found it both extremely comfortable and incredibly quiet. To wake up to the sounds of the kookaburras and whipbirds, was truly awesome. The cottage is spacious and tastefully decorated. The owners are very helpful and keen to make sure that your stay is one to remember. I would highly recommend ANYONE to stay here and experience the peace and solitude.

The cottages are not only clean and comfortable but they also have A/C, kitchen supplies, TV, and a pool nearby. We used our cottage's own grill and had dinner in both nights. They have stocked the kitchen with pretty much all the necessities!

It was great to be close to many attractions and beaches in every direction. Also just up the road is the local grocery store and restaurants. Nina has a welcome binder to get any guest acquainted with the area so don't worry about hunting down things to do on your own!

Our stay was wonderful and I highly recommend it!

The studio cottages are well appointed with a bed, couch, kitchenette, a dining area, as well as a bathroom. Even though they are secluded they are very close to shops, the train station and bust stop, as well as a host of Sunshine coast landmarks, including the Big Pineapple, Australia Zoo, and the Maleny markets. The hosts, Nina and Dave are most welcoming and accommodating and willing to assist with any queries.

Luxury in a peaceful tranquil surrounding, friendly helpful hosts, good mattress that beats the quality of beds of most of the surrounding hotels, lovely cooked breakfast delivered to the door. Definitely be back!

The property has three cottages that are set in lush gardens. Although they are located close to Nambour, it feels like you are a world away from the crowds on the coast. The cottages seem fairly new and are spotless. They are compact but have everything you need for a relaxing short break, ideally suited to couples I think. The pool and surrounding gardens were lovely. There is a bit of noise from the main road, but once you are inside the cottages you can hardly hear the traffic. I would recommend a visit to the local pub for a meal ( less than 4 mins drive away) ,as well as taking a drive to the next town( Palmwoods) to visit Ricks Garage, a retro diner that serves fantastic burgers. We hope to return to Sunshine Valley cottages to recharge and relax!!!

My partner and I stayed for one night at the Sunshine Valley Cottages in Woombye at the end of March. We are from Perth and were doing a bit of a road trip from Bryon Bay to the Sunshine coast. We booked the cottage in Woombye because we wanted to experience a bit of the hinterland to balance off the time that we were spending at Surfers and also in Brisbane.

There are 4 cottages which are set spaciously around the large tropical property. We stayed in the Stockman and we think that the property was fully booked for the night but pleasantly the cottages are so well spread out that we didn't see or hear much of the other guests.

The cottage itself is beautifully finished with quality linen and kitchen essentials and much much more. It was also immaculately clean and the owners had the air con running for our arrival. The area is spacious but also cosy and would be delightful in winter. There's a lovely balcony out the front which looks over the tropical garden with a handy BBQ to throw your steaks on.

If you go for a small wander around the garden you'll find a very nice salt water pool which was also very well maintained.

The cottages are a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk out of Woombye (which is approx 8 minutes from Nambour if you need to go into the big smoke)

Woombye is a lovely little country town filled with very friendly people, a few cafes (one serving fantastic organic coffee) a pub, a great butcher and IGA. Woombye is also close to Montville and Maleny as well.

Overall a great place to stay.
