Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We booked two nights at the park. We arrived to a very tight site with water and mud all around it. We noticed a lot of permed ants and felt eyes on us from the permanents that we were not welcome. One woman walk past clearly off her face having no idea where she was. We were there ten mins, went into town, which was also awful, dark and unwelcoming. Decided we didn’t feel safe, we wouldn’t leave out a blade of grass! Packed up and went to bli bli caravan park, it’s fabulous. Waiting our refund from the rainforest. Very old, dary and tight parking.

Lush rainforest setting, tightly packed van sights. Situated right by the Hwy for an early morning wake up, the train a distance away but un mistakable. I suppose if you research enough one would see this. What you couldn’t google was the ammenities dating back to early 70’s although reasonably clean needed major upgrade and maintenance for the $40 per night. I mean to plug a light bulb into an extension lead for the camp kitchen bbq is a bit slack with Bunnings down the road for a $10 switchable light surely with such a high occupancy and no up grade to infrastructure in 3 to 4 decades its time. So if you want pretty and basic she’ll be right for you, me I like the shower head over my head not my chest and not have to kneel in front of the bath mirror 1500mm off the ground, I think we’re all a bit taller in the 21st century. Good wifi, friendly office lady.

We only stayed one night here in a cabin with ensuite. Cabin was very old and tired. Also cleanliness left a lot to be desired! Underneath the bed were a previous persons socks. A dried up grasshopper was on a shelf. During the night we had quite a bit of rain which caused tree branches to scrape the roof. Not much sleep was had. Having a shower in the morning caused the smoke alarm to go off. Would not recommend this place

Filthy, disgusting cabins. They left other people's dirty soap with hair on it in the shower and there was hair all in the shower. The cabin was plain dirty. We bought our own plastic cups so we didn't have to use theirs. The smell of the cabin also gave me a bad headache.

We had a cabin which had everything we needed. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were only there one night to attend a concert at the Big Pineapple and unfortunately they rain poured down. The Village is close to all the tourist attractions at the sunshine coast. Big highlight for me was getting to enjoy all the birds they have. It is also pet friendly which is a big plus.

Stayed for 1 night in a bungalow-2 adults & 2 kids at last minute in school holidays as not much available on a budget & relatively close to Australia Zoo. We were very happy with everything & booked the bungalow as it has air con for around $10 extra a night-a microwave, toaster oven & 2 hotplates, good size fridge with freezer. There are no resturaunts, shops or cafes within walking distance & the closest shops are in Nambour a 5 min drive away. The bungalow was exceptionally clean; and there website/booking.com inform you no linen is supplied for the bunk beds-just be aware no pillows or towels either. Would defineatly stay again :)

A pleasant stay although the cabins need some work done on them - walls rotting, power points loose, fans and air-conditioners basic, the fan only works on one speed. Appliances were all good with the exception of the bench oven which belongs in the tip in my opinion. The bed was very comfortable although better pillows could be provided. Bathroom facilities were good if a little cramped. All in all an experience and we were quite relaxed despite the obvious lack of maintenance. We would stay there again overnight.

We stayed here over New Years. The staff were very nice and friendly. Park is set among the trees which gives it a rain forest feel. We stayed in a tent. Site was a decent size. The park was quite. The toilet/shower amenities are old and dated but very clean. The laundry and camp kitchen were very good. Pool was large and wonderful on a hot day. Would stay here again.
