Detailed Reviews
The motel is situated on the old Bruce Highway near Nambour, which is now called the Nabour connection road.
For those who like traffic noise at night (which I genuinely do) it was God send for getting to sleep. However, being so close to a dual carriageway may be a put off.
The room was comfortable and secure. The pool was present and clean but we had no opportunity to use it. The parking was also quite easy, the highway did not make this difficult.

The Room was spacious, extremely clean, and opens onto an outdoor grassed entertainment area (we had the Pool handy to our room but there is a spotlessly clean Barbeque Gazebo handy to the rooms as well). We brought our 2 Dogs and we were all very comfortable.
The Woombye District is a prefect location to visit Maleny (the Clouds Winery and Market at the RSL hall on the Sunday) , Monteville (there was an Arts and Crafts Markets there on the week-end) , Palmwoods (dog offleash park there is terrific) with an iconic Pub called Rick's Garage and a fantastic little bakery called the Sausage Roll Factory, plus a couple of great little Coffee Shops/Cafes in Woombye itself.
We found the Sunshine Coast Motor Lodge the prefect place to stay with our family pet and explore the Sunshine Coast Hinterland for few days and will be definitely going back there again just for a break (we live 100klms away so it is just so handy for a gettaway!).
We know there is so much more for us to see in the Hinterland and this is the prefect place for us to stay when we do some more exploration of this part of South East Qld.
A big thanks to the couple Couple who are the owners of the Sunshine Coast Travel Lodge for their Customer Service and lodging!

Exceptional service.
Travelling with a pet is challenging - a first time for us.
This motel warmly welcomed pets and our room was clean, fresh and lovely.
The pool area is lush and inviting and includes a bbq area for that cook up while you’re enjoying your holiday.
We enjoyed our stay here and wish the new managers the very best. They are just gorgeous and have a

We were greeted by the new owners Bebe & Paul and after a quick check in we were shown to our incredibly spacious room which overlooked the pool. Our room was clean, quiet and beautifully presented. Great place for a business stopover or an extended stay to explore the beautiful Sunshine Coast. The room was well priced and offered everyting you would need for your stay. Would absolutely stay there again.

We spent a night at the Sunshine Coast Motor Lodge as were visiting an art show in Buderim, 'Sculptured Garden' at the Craft Cottage.
Arrived at 1400 and were able to jump straight into the pool. Fresh at this time of year but revitalising for our preparation to view art.
The facilities are very clean and have everything you need for an overnight or longer stay. The room was well equipped and relaxing.
Paul and Bebe are your hosts and do a wonderful job.

Only one night here but it was great as a business stop over for me on my own.
Yes, its not new but very well
Maintained and the he new owners clearly had a huge PR Mess to clean up (judging by earlier TA reviews!)
A Warning though ...plan ahead for This
Location because Meals are hard to find on a Monday night in Nambour!

I stumbled over this small motel and what a great surprise. rooms are large have a fenced outside area of the rooms for the kids under supervision and are not to noisy. loved the jam drop biscuts in the room to have with coffee or tea.

I stayed at the Motor Lodge over the weekend. The room was lovely and spacious, well kept and had a nice outside area in the garden. I felt very at home, the proprietor was very helpful and very welcoming. My breakfast was nicely cooked and fresh. It was a lovely place to spend a couple of days in.

Very nice motel, just off the Bruce Highway. Probably a good 15-20 minute drive to Mooloolaba. Clean and comfortable, good heater/air conditioner. Room backed onto a lovely garden. Would definitely stay there again.

Older style motel with good sized rooms, some offering a kitchenette. Have stayed here for a couple of weeks and found it quite comfortable and relaxing overlooking the pool and gardens. Undercover parking and friendly owners, a pleasant stay and affordable!
