Chelsea Park is a home away from home and you are guaranteed an enjoyable stay with the host & hostess with the mostest! We had a delightful experience at Chelsea Park, thanks to Alex and Div who made sure we had a relaxing stay with them. Div’s breakfast got us at WOW and Alex’s stories of this 76-year old property were the highlights of our stay. They have owned it for a total of 24 years and kept the place amazingly clean! Chelsea Park has such a rich history and its international guests have dotted the place with ornaments that give the place a cultural flavour. If you wish for a restful night (or two), ask for the Shimizu Room and enjoy the Japanese theme room with an ensuite bathroom that comes with a bath tub!

Chelsea Park is beautiful property that takes you back to an earlier time. Div and Alex, the owners, are lovely, attentive hosts, who are only to happy to share their unlimited stories around the history of the house and local community.
The rooms are huge, each with its own bathroom, with the softest towels ever. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast alone makes the visit worthwhile!
Situated in a beautiful area, it’s a lovely place to spend a few days and let Div and Alex spoil you.

Beautiful Art Deco Building - 5 star breakfasts - attentive hosts - all set in a stunning garden. We would thoroughly recommend this B/B. Great location for visiting nearby villages.

Chelsea Park is a gorgeous art deco B&B, with excellent facilities and wonderful hosts. We stayed 2 nights and it was the ideal location for our weekend away. The breakfasts were delicious, nutritious, and catered to our needs. You'll feel right at home.

All the previous reviews cover the beauty of the location and the warmth and kindness of the hosts. We had the same wonderful experience. The Chelsea room we stayed in was beautiful with period features throughout. Great location to relax, play pool on the full size billiard table or just enjoy the view. Our hosts were kind enough to offer a lift to the local pub for dinner and then provided a sumptuous breakfast.
Also great to stay somewhere that is happy to accept single night bookings.

This is a perfect trip back into the Art Deco era. Enormous bedrooms with furniture of the era and with all mod cons (electric blankets, iron, sherry in decanter, Lindt chocolates, gas fire) with a separate shared sitting room with TV and extensive library.

The walls are covered with wonderful prints and watercolours, antiques adorn the rooms and beautiful ornaments in cocktail cupboards keep you amused.

Breakfast is extensive with all you would ever wish for. The hostess provided a pasta meal on the night we arrived as part of our package.

This is a return visit, and I just love it!

Our stay: we stayed one night to attend a party in Burradoo.
Overall: this is a B&B that is lovingly looked after by Davidia, the main host, and her husband Alex. If you are interested in staying in a period (1930s deco) house filled with 1930s furniture, with a helpful and interesting host, then this would be a great bet.
Our room: we stayed in the Chelsea room, which has a king size bed. It is a very large, lightfilled room, that provided everything we needed. Although the property is on the road between Bowral and Moss Vale, the house is set well back and noise was not the slightest problem even with the windows open.
Pluses: a knowledgeable, generous host who was very helpful (who, for example, drove us to our party so that we didn't need to take a taxi); a delicious and plentiful breakfast; the fun of staying in a large, intact 1930s deco house; a very comfortable bed.
Minuses: none to speak of - however bear in mind that this is a character B&B that might not suit someone looking for an anonymous hotel stay. The upstairs rooms each have their own separate bathrooms, but they are not ensuite, they are across a hallway (however we did not find this a problem).
In conclusion: a very enjoyable and interesting stay.

If you an art deco enthusiast you will love it here, close to bowral for entertainment - highly recommend for one or two nights. The owners are delightful and Davidina makes you feel at home, no wonder so many people want to come back again and again!
