We just stayed at Gravetye Manor for a special wedding anniversary, so wanted it to be memorable - it was .! The house itself is truly impressive, a wonderful example of Elizabethan architecture complete with every embellishment of that period, but small enough to combine natural grandeur with intimacy and privacy. We chose Holly after quizzing Charlotte on reception prior...

This was our first stay, I had booked it as an anniversary present for my husband. We had a lovely room, big bathroom, complimentary soft drinks in the mini bar. The food was excellent, well presented and lots of taste. The hotel itself is lovely, very old but well looked after and fantastic gardens, lots of tables and chairs in...

We spent 4 nights at Gravetye in early August. The gardens and grounds are gorgeous and the manor is lovely inside. We booked late and got the last room--Sycamore--which did not have a great view, but was large and comfortable. The service was by and large excellent with one exception. If the weather cooperates, eating in the garden is wonderful....

We stayed two nights in a Ash Suite which overlooks the gardens, we have stayed at this hotel on three occasions and each time it does not disappoint. Each of the three rooms have been good from the Classic rooms up to the Suite's We plan to stay again later this year.

A stunning hotel set in the most beautiful grounds. We had lunch at this Michelin starred restaurant and it was fantastic. Drinks in the beautiful garden before hand set the tone for our visit. The food was fantastic and service excellent. We will definitely be returning to stay here.

A gem of a small country house hotel situated in beautiful countryside. The hotel is full old world charm but the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. The garden is spectacular and worth a visit in its own right. The hotel restaurant is also excellent. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay for...

We returned to this hotel ten years after our last visit and still found the same ambience which enticed us earlier: an old manor house, but with comfortable, cosy and well appointed rooms and large, well functioning bathrooms. The beautiful gardens have been further improved and look gorgeous. And the food is superb all around. Unfortunately, superb service can only...
