Alan and I had one of the lovely units overlooking the river. Wow what a view!! The unit was very quiet, large, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was large, with a large shower and heaps of room to move. The amenities block was spotlessly clean. The park is a real credit to owner/operators Burnie and Cath Burke. They were very friendly and helpful. The Bowling Club is a 4 minute walk away with very affordable meals. Oysters from Jimmy’s Oysters are large and fresh. We’ll be back!! A beautiful part of the world. Thank you so much Bernie and Cath.
At first, we thought $32/night for a non powered tent site was a bit over the top, but found it was pretty much the going rate for camping along the Shoalhaven Coast. Knowing that now, this place is worth a stop. The non powered area is a huge, nicely grassed space, wind sheltered by trees. The attitude is casual, (Which is what you want for camping), and you are not hemmed into marked spots. It is also one of the few places that allows dogs. The shower block is very nice, clean, and well maintained. Another plus - untimed abundance of hot Water. While chatting to some of the campers who'd been previously, the open camping area was the place to be - as a powered site is amongst the numerous long term residents. (Not that happy with visitors in their space) Greenwell Point is lovely and relaxing, with plenty of access to fresh oysters.…
Very quiet spot away from any town and great if you like fishing with it’s own boat ramp or bowling with the club next door. Very clean amenities and well managed park. There are many onsite permanent vans with older retired people so not suitable for families
This is our second time staying at the Coral Tree lodge. The staff are very friendly we had a great spot on the grassed area. The park is very clean and tidy. We will definatley be back. Highly recommended
We stay on a powered site with our caravan. Easy to get onto it, plus car space. The staff are fantastic and are ready to help you if needed. The facilities are spotless and well maintained. The swimming pool is fenced for safety. Outdoor kitchen is good. Beautiful waterfront cabins. There is a walking track to the Greenwell Point Bowling Club nearby if you want to go out for the day or night. Good fishing in the River. We go there every year.
