A drive down the south coast, we decided to try and find a place with no booking in a busy time . Luck was on our side Coral tree had a spare three bedroom place . It was perfect for a two nights stay ( perfect for a longer stay ) it had everything we needed it. Beds where comfortable there is a double bed with a water view, then two single beds with a water view and then another room with two single beds , large fridge, oven ,lounge , great shower, separated toilet,tv gorgeous table setting out back and a great BBQ area just a few steps away . You can fish of the jetty or just sit a and enjoy life . Value for money short walk to the Greenwell bowling club . Highly recommend this place to stay the gentleman was very friendly there is a pool and games room. We love it and will be back there…
We stayed in a powered site for 2 nights. Very relaxed vibe. Bathrooms were very clean with plenty of hot water. Although the park looks crowded with several permanent caravans in marked out sites, we didn't see many people around during our stay. Only drawback was there we could hear the TV of the permanent residents at night.
Alan and I had one of the lovely units overlooking the river. Wow what a view!! The unit was very quiet, large, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was large, with a large shower and heaps of room to move. The amenities block was spotlessly clean. The park is a real credit to owner/operators Burnie and Cath Burke. They were very friendly and helpful. The Bowling Club is a 4 minute walk away with very affordable meals. Oysters from Jimmy’s Oysters are large and fresh. We’ll be back!! A beautiful part of the world. Thank you so much Bernie and Cath.
At first, we thought $32/night for a non powered tent site was a bit over the top, but found it was pretty much the going rate for camping along the Shoalhaven Coast. Knowing that now, this place is worth a stop. The non powered area is a huge, nicely grassed space, wind sheltered by trees. The attitude is casual, (Which is what you want for camping), and you are not hemmed into marked spots. It is also one of the few places that allows dogs. The shower block is very nice, clean, and well maintained. Another plus - untimed abundance of hot Water. While chatting to some of the campers who'd been previously, the open camping area was the place to be - as a powered site is amongst the numerous long term residents. (Not that happy with visitors in their space) Greenwell Point is lovely and relaxing, with plenty of access to fresh oysters.…
Very quiet spot away from any town and great if you like fishing with it’s own boat ramp or bowling with the club next door. Very clean amenities and well managed park. There are many onsite permanent vans with older retired people so not suitable for families
This is our second time staying at the Coral Tree lodge. The staff are very friendly we had a great spot on the grassed area. The park is very clean and tidy. We will definatley be back. Highly recommended
We stay on a powered site with our caravan. Easy to get onto it, plus car space. The staff are fantastic and are ready to help you if needed. The facilities are spotless and well maintained. The swimming pool is fenced for safety. Outdoor kitchen is good. Beautiful waterfront cabins. There is a walking track to the Greenwell Point Bowling Club nearby if you want to go out for the day or night. Good fishing in the River. We go there every year.
Right on the water with a jetty and boat ramp in the caravan park. Amenities are spotless. Very friendly staff. Bowling club next door has a bistro and an excellent Chinese restaurant. Will come back for sure.
We stayed here just on a month and our stay was excellent. We had a great site an easy walk to the bowling club which has excellent meals. The park has a great boat ramp and jetty you can fish of. A large swimming pool and very clean amenaties. Would highly recommend for a holiday
Top spot, clean quite and very pretty. Amenities are amazing, clean spotless. Great swimming, very good boat ramp and loads of fish near the jetty. Couldn't say a bad thing about the park one of the best I have stayed at.
