I like coming to this place in spring. You can pluck flowers with your children, have them run around on the lawn and play in the play ground. Then enjoy a good coffee and scone/apple pie. The birds will finish your crumbs afterwards.

We've been to De Sfeerstal a couple of times now. Sometimes just to get an ice cream and play in the beautiful garden, or to get lunch. It's a little oasis in the beautiful Groene Hart (Green Heart) region, very centrally located in The Netherlands. Lunch is great here, with several delicious dishes, mostly sourced from local producers. I would recommend this place for lunch, or as a stop on a bike tour in the region. You can also pick flowers in the garden or stay in the Bed & Breakfast. Due to its location, you can easily go to Amsterdam, Leiden, The Hague and Utrecht from here, making it an ideal base for a short stay in The Netherlands.

We went over for lunch at this nice restaurant. The area is peaceful situated in a farm area. The lunch is served until 3pm but we were a bit later. Luckily this wasn’t a problem and we still could order some meals. We ordered hamburgers and wedges. We had some issues with our food but this was resolved quickly. The food itself was tasty and the portions big enough. Price was reasonable. The service was super friendly. Recommended.

On a early morning on Friday I visited the Sfeerstal for the first time. To find the place you drive on a small quiet road surrounded by green, nature. The entrance is inviting and atmospheric. Inside it is cosy and gives you a warm feeling. The service is attentive an friendly. It is relaxed to have a cup of coffee or tea. And I had a raspberry cheesecake which was delicious... The terrace and garden looked wonderful, but unfortunately it is not the time of year to sit outside. I will definitely return and will visit this place for certain in summer. It is a place where you can bring your kids, particularly in summer. Love this place after one visit.
