It was my family's first time to visit Las Casas because our Singaporean friend wanted to know more about our country's history. Upon the suggestion of our friend, we didn't think twice and went to visit Las Casas. But once we stepped foot on the property, the front desk was moving so slow. There were only two (2) girls welcoming...

Old houses converted into hotels and cafes. Some are retained for tour purposes. Very accommodating and helpful staff. Food is ok price range would be around 300-400/head. Today (new year) they offered dinner buffet for 999/pax. We didnt try this though as its quite pricey and we are not up for a buffet today. Hotel rooms are nice even if...

Being at Las Casas makes you appreciate the story and history behind the beautifully restored houses. The layout of the resort was outstanding. Entrance fee for day tour is Php 999 Pros: Instagramable Spots, Photographer's Place, Awesome Beach view, Food available, place easy to locate. Cons: Cannot bring your own food, on a sunny day it can be too hot...

You can tell that a lot of love and effort were dedicated to this relaxing place. A good idea that people are now appreciating, combining history and fun. The food can still improve, we tried arroz caldo and it's not good. They charge extra for kids for breakfast and still u pay extra for chocolate (instead of coffee). Nearest mall...

The place is lovely. Perfect for a photoshoot and the tour is educational. However, it is not yet complete. Not all houses are available for viewing. Some are still under construction and the train is not yet functional. If going for a day tour, consider the weather because it was very hot when we visited and we have to walk...

It was a nice place to stay for those who want a quiet and historical vacation. We enjoyed the tour of some historical houses of some prominent Filipinos during the Spanish era. Just a minor issue, they were missing the extra comforters we requested ☺.

This was my second time...enjoyed both stunning views and great services/amenities! Indeed a good place to spend holidays with loved ones! Tried the food at La Bella Teodora, their pasta was superb! Very much worth it! Will definitely go back again next year and will try other activities.

My family and I had a day trip here today, which is Christmas Day, and what an experience it was. We loved the picturesque sights and how a lot of things were so well thought of. The staff were wonderful and helpful, especially AlJohn at the Hotel De Oriente and Eva, our tour guide. Most seemed to really enjoy their...

I have been a regular guest, visiting at least once sometimes two to three times in a year since 2012 and having seen the place grow through the years it saddens me to note that a lot of the aspects of the place have declined over time. It's still a good place to visit though, but some of the things...

Educational, nostalgic, relaxing and reserved. A nice place to spend a day. Although there is limited choices of food and the hotel direction sign is not noticeable from main highway. But it is worth the visit.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A fine showcase of Filipino history and craftsmanship, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan takes you back to 18th-century Philippines in the twinkling of an eye. Architectural pieces of a bygone era, from different parts of the country, were reconstructed brick by brick, plank by plank. The noble-class mansions, wooden stilt houses, and a grand main building made of stone stand proudly in a village of cobblestone streets. To add up to the ambiance, a backdrop of majestic mountains, expansive rice fields, and a running river that flows to the sea, are found in the vast property. Truly a travel destination unlike any other, this resort in Bataan is a living museum of Philippine heritage. The traditional houses as hotel accommodations are the centerpiece of this Bataan beach resort about 125 km northwest of Manila. Even so, this destination resort does not lack in providing avenues for entertainment, relaxation, and recreation. It has the Napiya Spa, a swimming pool, private beach, gaming center, 3 restaurants, conference and banquet facilities, cultural shows, and heritage tours. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar takes pride in giving you a glimpse of the past, reliving the age-old yet distinctive Filipino traditions, while providing the luxuries and comforts of contemporary times. ... more   less
