Detailed Reviews
We stayed at unit 718 for 8 nights and had a lovely time. This unit was booked through Caloundra Holiday Centre so luckily had nothing to do with Riviere as management there were rude and unfriendly. Couldn't fault Caloundra Holiday Centre. The key had to be picked up from there and returned at the end of the stay.
The unit was on the 7th floor with great views of the water. Very large apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The shower in the ensuite was a bit difficult to get into as it is in the spa so we just used the main bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and it was all in great condition. The whole apartment was clean and tidy. Shops were literally across the road. The only thing we would fault was the uncomfortable cane lounge.

We stayed at Riviere on Golden Beach for a week and it was really nice. The place had a medium size pool but comfortable for my children to play. a couple of mins walking distance to Spar for shopping, several cafes & restaurants. You can also drive 5 mins to Coles or Woolies. The view from the balcony was excellent. The apartment had all the equipment that you need. I can recommend to anyone who would like to stay here. The lady at the reception was very nice, too.

We have stayed multiple times. Worth noting every unit has different furnishings. For a 2 bed 511 is amazing. Modern, aircon - absolutely perfect view on level 5. No dishwasher though. For a 3 bed we really enjoyed 512. Huge apartment, super comfy beds. Dishwasher however no air con (fans though!) Plastic outdoor table as opposed to 511 beautiful outdoor furnishing. Both very clean. The pool and beach are amazing. Pool is heated and always quiet. Parking is great undercover and secure. Washing machines in units great when travelling with kids! Managers are beyond friendly and keep the place in amazing shape! Can’t wait to go back!

Nice view but let down with dated unit, not much cutlery or plates. Room was very hot especially in morning with the sun. Carpet in room very old and dirty, not good price for what you get. IGA across the road was handy. Would be nice to take a boat out on the water.

My mother and I stayed for 3 days in April this year. Booked on Wotif with a request for a higher level so I could view ships passing in the shipping channel.
Managers were not very friendly...was given a unit on the first floor. Sadly couldn't see into the channel. My mother slept in the second room where there were two small beds....neither of which was comfortable at all.
Car park in basement was too small to safely drive my RAV into and parking spot was far too small. I parked my car in the visitor bay.
TV reception was not great some of the time.
The lounge furniture in the unit was not representative of the photos on the webpage...our furniture was cane. I was looking forward to comfy leather.
Kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent.

We booked and were told by the Managers that our unit was on Level 3. We were actually on what they call Level 2 which is really Level 1 as they count the ground as level 1. We could not see the shipping channel from this balcony but did have a good view of the rubbish bins as the balcony was so close to the ground. The Managers are not very friendly or accommodating as they would not allocate a higher floor even though they were available. Found this info about unit 203 misleading.
The unit is beautifully decorated and clean with comfortable furniture.

Misleading comments, I need to add you also stated your husband did not like heights. Response to the Shore named comments already made.

Was disappointed in the 'unfriendly' managers of this building as we were offered a unit on level three only to be put on level two which is actually level one but they count the ground floor as level one. We could not see the shipping channel and also overlooked the rubbish bins which were quite close considering how close to the ground unit 203 is.
The unit itself is beautifully decorated and clean and has lovely comfortable furniture (not cane).
Be careful when booking if you're offered level two as it is misleading and the managers should explain this to potential customers but they don't seem to care.

I booked a last-minute week’s stay at Riviere on Wotif from December 29th onwards, knowing nothing whatever about the place. I need not have worried; the apartment was exceptionally good and would definitely have been worth paying full price for. I got there and was immediately blown away by the size of the apartment, the furnishings and the stunning views out to Bribie Island and beyond and back to the Glasshouse Mountains. We were in a 3-bedroom apartment on the ninth floor; there was only one level above us (the penthouse). The apartment had 2 bathrooms (one ensuite with spa), 1 bedroom with a queen (the master) and 2 with 2 singles each.
I was concerned about the lack of air-conditioning but needn’t have been – the breezes were nature’s air conditioner and kept the place beautiful and cool at all times. The kitchen was well-equipped with stove, oven, full-size fridge and dishwasher; there was a massive modern TV and comfy couches and a large dining table. A large balcony looked out to sea from the lounge area, and the apartment was designed so that there was also a view to the sea from a small balcony belonging to the master bedroom and well as back to the Glasshouse Mountains from a third balcony attached to another bedroom.
There was a small beach just out front with families fishing, boating and kayaking off it, and a patrolled beach around 200 metres away. On the windier days there were many kite surfers out front which made for a pretty sight. The water in Pumistone Passage is protected and quiet. For some wave action, Moffat Beach is a short drive away. There is a shopping centre across the road with 2 small supermarkets, cafes, a chemist and post office. The gelato shop had delicious ice-cream – I bought about a litre a day at great expense which was usually entirely consumed that night.
There was a small but warm, clean and attractive pool. There was no real need to get in the car to drive anywhere. All in all, a great stay and would definitely return.

After reading Nice Unit - Shame about the view I would like to add that I have previously stayed at Riviere and was also mislead about level of apartment. We were put on level one after being told we would be on a higher floor. Was not able to change units upon check-in and found managers (particularly MIchelle) to be unhelpful when trying to book tours. Maybe because we booked through agent and not direct?
Unit was clean and view was okay but would not stay again due to unfriendly managers.

Excellent position with great views of Pumicestone Passage and Caloundra. Great boardwalk on your doorstep. Organized a group of 16 adults booked Penthouse & 2 x 2brms. Clean & spacious rooms, well equipped kitchens & comfortable beds. The lift is quick. The grounds well maintained. Café & coffee shop across the road. Definitely suited our requirements. It would suit couples & families also.
