Stayed here for one night to go to the rugby World Cup at Twickenham. Pretty good location for Twickenham, about 15 minutes walk from the station. Our room seemed clean and the towels were nice but that's about it. When we arrived I thought that we had stepped onto the set of a very old movie. It was so odd,... More

The room was large, clean although a bit dated. Coffee and tea making facilities provided. Very clean bathroom with an excellent shower. We stayed only one night as we were attending a party in Windsor. The taxi fare to Windsor was about £8 so not far away. We had a good night's sleep, bed was very comfortable and the hotel... More

Needing a hotel for a family party, and with many hotels asking silly prices for three, we found the Datchet Mead. From the front it needed a little attention but inside the welcome was warm. While in some respects the decor was functional, and pushed me towards 3*, the friendly team, decent breakfast and very reasonable price allowed me to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights as we were going to Royal Ascot and couldn't really get anywhere suitable any nearer. This ended up being a good choice, not too far in a cab to the racecourse or to Windsor where we ate afterwards. About a 15 minute walk to the little village. Nice freshly cooked breakfast rather than a... More

Stayed at this hotel for a night as I was in the area for work, and I have to say that it exceeded all my expectations. Plenty of parking available, and checking in and getting the keys for my room was a quick and easy process. The room itself was a good size, and was clean, light and tidy. Admittedly,... More

Just stayed at the Datchet Mead Hotel. We were a group of 10. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed in the look of the hotel, especially for the price we were paying (£90) per room, looked old. Rooms were very nice, clean and big, toilet was very cold, but the main problem was, when we decided to get... More

I stayed here recently on business and was shocked by the hotel. From the outside it looked run down and tired. There was a strange smell through out the hotel and the room was dated. The door to my room felt like it did not close correctly and the air conditioning did not work. There was loud noise until 12am.... More

Owners are really nice people who will help in every way, the hotel is old, but cozy. Twenty minutes from Heathrow, and the fifteen from Windsor, as long as it is not rush hour. Nice English breakfast!
