Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The woman who is managing this establishment needs a lesson in PR So rude, like we were all too much trouble and not paying customers. So many other places available and much friendlier people in charge.

The unit we stayed in Upside Great location, Ducted aircon upstairs and reverse cycle downstairs. very well stocked , as for the kitchen, a great full size oven and induction hob. Large fridge freezer. Bedrooms ample room, though in 2nd bedroom even with the blind down very light in the morning. Bathroom a great size bonus 3 toilets and a full size bath. A good size pool. Very close to the beach, , across a back public recreation area, with skateboard ramp . Downside, needs a bit of TLC , holes and gouges in walls, which really need a good wash, lots of marks, especially on the stairs, and lounge. Light fitting missing from bedroom empty kitchen cupboards were very greasy and dirty. Frying pans need replacing. Lovely enclosed courtyard but a sun trap in the afternoon with no shade .

Beautiful villas, very clean and a fantastic location. Welcome chocolates and colouring books for the children a lovely extra touch. Prior to the cyclone proprietors supplied us with a torch and a deck of cards in case of power outage The next day with power out the proprietors retuned at both lunch and dinner to feed all the occupants of the 9 villas. Also a huge box of glow sticks for all the children Fantastic hospitality would highly recommend this resort

manager is a mole with an attitude and will charge you additional and disproportionate cleaning fees for the smallest things. Caravan park next door is far better value and better accommodation without the attitude

Not really a beach resort as such. Nine x Two storey homes with a swimming pool in a separate courtyard. Pillows are lumpy and cheap. Kettle leaked and the microwave was a fire waiting to happen. Pegs all broken and old. Showers leaked and overall 0 due to lack of care by the caretakers. Umbrella was broken and no bbq offered. Very very small courtyard .enclosed by a brick wall also next to a construction site project. Prices are high for what you get. Nothing different here. Prefer elsewhere and also not the views we were expecting.

The accomodation is very modern, clean and well equipped. Beds were all comfortable. Rosemary the manager was very lovely. The pool was huge and tucked away. The beach chairs for the balcony was a nice touch. The view was amazing!! Great location near beach, skatepark and a short walk to the local coffee truck.

Great place to stay with family/extended family. Lovely pool area that is tucked away from the wind. Unit was clean and tidy, needed some maintenance though and mattresses need an upgrade. We had a 4 bedroom, 3 bath unit fully self contained. Short walk to beach and local pub.

A very well kept and well appointed Caravan Park. It is well wooded and the Sites are fairly generous. The Ablutions are spotlessly clean. There are amenities for kids on site but better exist jus off the along the main street. It looks like a little man-made cove where there were quite a few supervised children playing in the beach. From my point of view it was a very safe venue for children up to 5-6 y/o. There is a small shopping area also located in the main shopping street which caters for more than the usual "coffee and cake" fraternity. But if you want a bigger choice then you will have to go a few k's further into Dongara. The prices at this Park are fair but they do not give the usual discount that I've encountered at other Parks for Seniors, which is a shame.

Have stayed here last year, but this week took off at short notice to witness the bumper wildflower season north of Perth. After staying at some inland places that were from a previous era (or 2) this place was in excellent condition, so clean, roomy with a well equipped kitchen, not that we needed so much for one night. We had Unit 8 which overlooks the water. A bit breezy at this time of year to sit out on the front deck, but would be fabulous in summer. We were able to enjoy breakfast at in dining table set by the front window taking in the lovely ocean view. The people who run this park are very efficient and friendly. A great place to stay in the Dongara area.
