Stayed only one night. Shocking experience. Noise of water running all night. Room mismatch of everything. Not cleaned properly, light bulbs out etc etc. If you complain they charge you $120 from your credit card for cleaning of room. "You didn't clean the room!!!" at $240 per night I thought they would be responsible for cleaning. We were told there was sand on the floor (no broom or vacuum cleaner available?????) A complete rip off. No wonder they are trying to sell the place. Don't stay. Rod.
I wish we had read the last review before we spent $430 on two nights here. Everything that TOPCAT05 says is true. We found the bed very comfortable but there was so much noise during the night from others in the place, including someone trying to enter our room with their key, that I hardly slept the second night (Saturday). The upside to having such a crappy room is that we spent as much time out of it as possible and thus discovered more about this beautiful region. We will never stay at this accommodation again and do not recommend it.
This place is terrible and not worth even half of what they are charging. The decor is mish, mashed boat meets Bali, meets Greece meets lots of cobwebs. The dust on the shelves was a good indication of how often these rooms get cleaned. We were not sure about all the emphasis on the candles and romance. This was not the place for romance. The other strange thing s all the rules that are tuck all over the room on laminated card. The funniest being the one about being charged $100 cleaning fee! The rooms are not serviced daily unless you want o pay another $35 a day. The towels were grey ( once white) and rock hard. Avoid, avoid, avoid. We left early losing our $250 we had paid for the last night. Yes this debacle charges $250 a night!!!!!
