The location of this holiday park is great, and the pool, playground, etc are also good.

We stayed on a caravan site, and needed to use the communal amenities, which were superficially ok, but not properly clean: there was a biofilm on the floor between shower stalls and mould in the corners. For the prices charged, I'd expect the cleaning to be carried out thoroughly, particularly given that we've had a global pandemic requiring us all to enact good hygiene measures. The lock on the ladies' amenities was tricky to open with a key, which was frustrating when you have a young child who urgently needs to use them!

This is a beautiful family friendly resort conveniently located next to the beach and a short drive from Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful. The entrance and office is being renovated however were met at the gate with cabin keys and checkin was less than 5 mins and did not need to get out of the car.

The Cabin was clean, comfortable, very close to the beach (Beach front cabin). The view was beautiful, however the main porch facing the beach was a bit on the small side. Unfortunatley the pools were closed due to covid. Kids loved to ride their bicycles around in the resort and was very safe.

Main bedroom had a queen bed, and 4 single bunk style beds in the other room, with sufficient bedding to keep warm during the cold winter nights.

Downside - Was that the 2 top bunk beds were not made, but bedding was provided. When I booked I was told there would be a sleeper couch/ pull out couch in the unit to accomodate 2 extra people, but there was not. Therefore I was under the impression it would be an 8 sleeper (as we were 2 families of 4) and the weekends stay was a tight squeeze, as the kids had to share beds.

Needless to say, we had a great weekend and will definatley book again.

We just spent 3 days in 3 of your family cabins as well as a powered site. Whilst the parks location is beautiful, right on the beach, we unfortunately were very disappointed in the uncleanliness of the cabins. In all 3 cabins it was clear the floors had not been cleaned in quite some time, to the point where we all had to wear shoes 24/7 otherwise we would be left with feet completely blackened with dirt, even with walking just from the shower to get into bed. There was sand everywhere and even on the outside tables, they had not been cleaned at all. Our toilet had not been cleaned either, and there was used soap left in the shower in two of the cabins (complete with the hair of previous occupants hanging off it's sticky residue), so obviously they hadn’t wiped down the shower or bathrooms either. One cabin had cockroaches and all had ants everywhere, so we had to buy sprays to get rid of them, and cover all our plates and cups in case they walked on them in the night. The dishwasher was so gross, it had a big splodge of something brown inside the door and splattered with old dishwasher soap so I washed up in the sink instead. There was a sticky substance on the floor in two of the cabins, and various empty lolly packets and my son in law found a half sucked chuppah chup in one of the bunk drawers, and an old sock under the lounge pillows. All surfaces, including the mattresses on the top bunks had layers of dust and hair (and who knows what else). The receptionist spoke rudely to my son when he politely asked for the wifi password. If you are paying cleaners to do this work, you need to check that they are actually cleaning and not just replacing the dirty sheets and towels, as it looks like you are being ripped off. Your park is in an excellent position right on the beach and the pools are beautiful and the cabins well set out, but unfortunately there is no way we will return as the dirtiness completely spoiled the whole experience.

We stayed in a beachfront cabin, and the view of the beach is where the positives end. The cabin was filthy and leaked in the rain. We spent our weekend dodging pools of water on the lounge area floor. We complained, but the only thing they did was give us extra towels. Aside from the rain, although you would expect a water tight cabin, the floor was sticky and wet when we arrived. Anything in the cabin that can rust is rusty, kitchen door handles, light fittings, lamps. Everything in the kitchen was filthy, the frypan still had grease from the last people, as did the bbq. Every plate had food and had to be rewarded, saucepans also had food on them.

Definitely not worth the price of the cabin.

Hi michellefT6248KC Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. Unfortunately, thee weather was quite extreme and some very, very heavy rain was experienced which did affect the cabin you stayed in. We did offer to move you to an alternative cabin when the problem was identified, however your refused this option. We also encourage all guests to advise us as soon as possible if there is a issue with any aspect of their cabin, or their stay in general and it gives us the opportunity to rectify these and change your experience. We are sorry we did not meet your expectation on this occasion.

Our family stayed in beachfront cabin in January. The female front desk manager did not even greet us upon arrival but rudely told us that kids had to behave. This manager is so rude and even told us we could leave when I advised her that there was a cochroach in the cupboard when we unpacked. The cabin was dirty with cochroach droppings in kitchen and grimy glasses and utensils. The bbq was filthy with cooked on grease and when assistant manager was called he started arguing with us instead of apologising. The kids room was the size of a wardrobe with no room to place their bags. The cabin only had one 2seater lounge to sit on for 5 people. The windows facing the beach were so dirty you could not see through them. We normally go to a south coast park where the manager is lovely and could not believe how poor the service was at this resort. The location is great but cabin is overpriced and I would not recommend this resort as our experience was not good and there were no apologies. We went home 2 days early.

Hi B8558HCcnthiam We are sorry we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We pride ourselves on the way we greet our customers and certainly have a very high level of respect and care for younger guests. We are surrounded by a National Park and the beach and there are often cockroaches particularly during muggy/humid weather.

Unfortunately for us we were given a 2 bedroom garden view cabin that was extremely run down and in need of a bulldozer. The first impression of the cabin was in poor condition and upon entering the cabin i was hit with a strong murky, mouldy odour which my family were unable to tolerate. The lounge room venetians were filthy, broken and gave little privacy. The dinted dishwasher was taped up with duck tape. The kids bunk room had an awful musky smell and was no bigger than the size of two toilet cubicles. The main room had the strongest mouldy smell, a dirty ancient looking ceiling fan with a dim light and the sliding door latch was seized and corroded. Throughout the cabin the door frames amd skirts were rotting and the flooring was loose, noisy and old.
These cabins are deteriorating and well past their use by date. No 'standard' or' 'base' level cabin should be this unhygienic nor reflect the price they are still charged out at.
The staff were able to refund the charges after i declined the option to outlay an additional cost to 'upgrade' to a newer built cabin.
Pretty disappointing customers are expected to pay to holiday like this.

I’ll start with the positives. Great location right on the beach perfect for swimming, boogie boarding and fishing. Lovely pool. Free unlimited wifi, great well priced cafe. Negatives unhelpful and uncaring staff. My father was stung by a stingray ray whilst with my 15 yr old son right out front of the resort. My son went for help at reception they refused to come out of the office and recommended my son take my father 1km down the beach to Shelly beach life saving club. I went myself to reception for advice about which hospital to attend and they again confirmed they had said they can’t leave the office and had recommended my son take my father to the surf club.No follow up by resort staff regarding checking on my fathers condition which is very uncaring. . No phone reception in many parts of the resort and left to fend for ourselves in a potentially life threatening situation. Very poor form. Resort very run down and quite neglected especially for price paid. Such a shame to see a potentially beautiful park be neglected. Not hard to show some basic customer service and some care.

Disgraceful and Overpriced!
We booked 4 nights here for what should have been a great getaway. We enjoyed our time outside the cabin though the cabin itself was nothing short of appalling. The state of the top of the range accommodation option being the Ocean Front 2br cabin contained fixtures and fittings that were broken, rusted or just not working) along with the poor state of cleanliness weighed heavily on our decision to leave early. Dead cockroaches and others very much alive and well under the main bed, mould in the bathroom, broken toilet seat, a bbq that doesn't work,a bathroom door that hadn't been wiped over since the day it was installed, an iron that shorted out, power point in the bathroom that is almost ready to come out of the wall, dirty pans in the oven and cupboard. We washed everything before we used it as everything either looked or felt grubby. We were part of a large wedding group and many of the guests reported the same. What a pity, such a stunning location. You would be better off and safer, free camping on the beach. I should have read the reviews before booking. ABSOLUTELY disgusting. Apart from the wedding, the best part of our weekend was leaving the cabin
