I have stayed multiple times at Shang-at-the-fort but this particular time I do noticed a change in the hospitality and service. I'm not sure if there is a management change or their strive for excellence that made it happen but I would really like to point out this little

The hotel is in the heart of Bonifacio Global City (BGC). Once you set foot in the hotel, you will be welcomed with a friendly smile. You will of course gain access to luxury amenities once checked in. For rooms with lounge access, you can do express check in at the 40/F.

I always have a high expectation with Shangri-La, somehow their branch at the Fort did not exceed mine. The room was superb and clean. Obviously, it's a new hotel. Facilities like the Kerry Sports, High Street Cafe, and the lounge were pleasing. The staff at first was a bit

It’s new, and that gives it an advantage. But the service is always on point. From airport pick up to check in. Great location and comfortable easy to use attractive suites. When comparing to other Asia cities this still ranks in my top 5

The Fort is better. You have everything near you. Makati is too congested and suffocating.

Depends where you need to travel to during your stay. If it’s a business trip and your office is in Makati, then stay at Makati, as travel times can be quite long from the Fort due to traffic. If it’s not, then I think in all other instances the Fort is better option because it is more modern and the BGC Is a good area.

What are the opening times of the gym and swimming pool?
Gym is open 24 hours - pool open at 7AM (I think) and closes at 10PM - it's "cold" compared to other pools in the city - particularly at night when the air cools off. In the rainy season, it's even cooler.
