Second time visit even more incredible than the first - staff outstanding, setting unbeatable, facilities and grounds ideal. Could not imagine a more perfectly balanced blend of quiet simple luxury and beautiful surroundinigs

We have come to Guana Island every year without fail since we discovered it in 1995. We return each year at the same time with a group of 10-12 couples. It's a wonderful get-away, with no phones, TV, A/C; and with great food, nature, beach, staff, ...

We spent 3 nights on Guana Island. It is very laid back and peaceful. There are hiking trails that can take you to the far reaches of the Island. There is no air conditioning. The rooms are like little casitas tucked away and most are quite private. Good hike or golf cart ride down to one of the best beaches...

Our visit to Guana Island was perfect from the moment we arrived until we departed. The staff is attentive, but not intrusive. The hiking trails are very natural and lead to destinations with beautiful views. Our villa was the perfect size and had incredible views. We can't wait to return!

This review is a little late as we visited early December 2016. There is not much I can add to the reviews that have already been written. Guana is unique, an exclusive island where you are made to feel that you are part of a wonderful house party. We are relatively anti-social coming on holiday to keep to ourselves and...

Pristine beaches on this protected island paradise. From the moment we arrived, Guana delivered on everything, with exceptional food, gorgeous rooms, white sand beaches and friendly staff. Incredible hiking on this protected island, and a working farm that provides some of the produce for the exceptional meals. Truly an incredible place, unlike any other resort we have ever been. On...

The stay at Guana went beyond our expectations: the reclusiveness of the island, the restricted number of people who can stay at one time at the resort, the White beach, the orchard, the trails around the island, the friendliness of the staff and the helpfulness of the managers there in organizing our days all contributed to make the trip an...

We had the most relaxing vacation ever on Guana. The staff was very accommodating, the food was superb and the setting could not be better. We would highly recommend it to anyone who can afford it. You will not be disappointed.

Words cannot do justice to the feeling Guana Island imparts from the moment you arrive on this tropical idyll. Everything about this resort is so un-resort-like. It's undeveloped, and there's nothing glitzy about the place. The incredible views, beach and calm lagoon do all the talking. Plus there's an honesty bar system. Surely that's unheard of these days?! As guests,...

Nature preserved on an island with friendly staff, great food and comfortable lodges tucked in on a ridge above the swimming beach and farm-to-table orchard and garden. This is the Caribbean going both back in time and forward in comfort and care.
