We really enjoyed our night here in the double room with en-suite. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, very clean and nicely made-up with a modern en-suite. It was located on the main road but was quiet and a short walk to the local pub where we had a nice meal. If you...

We were treated to a couple of nights at Paradise House to celebrate my wife's birthday. It came highly recommended and suffice it to say it met up to our (high) expectations in every respect. A real gem

Val made this a very special occasion with her friendly hospitality. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Having the use of a comfortable lounge was a real bonus. The breakfast menu is extensive and of excellent quality.

Wonderful host, nice room, fantastic breakfast and hospitality general. Together with my son I enjoyed the time at Paradise House B & B. We can recommand that place. Ps: negativ is that there is no signal for mobile phones in the area (at least with our phones and company :-))

It was so nice to meet you and your son, and to make sure you both enjoyed lots of good English breakfasts! Yes, I agree that the lack of a mobile phone signal is a nuisance, sadly one I an do nothing about (although I do let my guests use my landline if necessary). Very best wishes to you both...

Very comfortable, homely b&b. Val couldn't do more to make us welcome. Breakfast was fantastic and very much appreciated. Will certainly stay here again probably early December. Situation very central to all surrounding tourist attractions.

We were welcomed by Val very politely and she very kindly let us use her garage to store our trailer in. We were given tea and cake in the garden and she recommended a local pub (50 m away at the most) called the George inn (see my review). The Garden was really quite amazing and as you walked up...

My two sons and I have just spent a great weekend in Somerset at a family wedding and Paradise House was our base during the festivities. It is the first time my sons have really stayed in a B&b and they weren't sure what to expect staying in a 'stranger's' house. Within five minutes of arriving they had made a...

We were lucky to get this booking as it was only for 1 night, which a lot of houses understandable discourage. This house is paradise indeed. We were able to park our car in the drive and our hostess Val gave us a lovely welcome and a pot of tea with the best home made cake I have tasted. Our...

Thank you for such a glowing review; it was my pleasure to have you here and good to have some interesting talks about the I. of M. I do think books are important in a house, even in the smallest room! Glad you liked my jams and marmalades (I did win a few prizes for some at our recent Village...
