You will get a very warm welcome from the Owners, Madeline & Pete and all of the staff. Although we are not local, we often pop to Camber to walk the dogs and we always pop in The Owl for a drink. We have eaten there a good few times and each experience has been a good one, very good...

Had to leave review before even eating food come down to watch football without the wife. Lovely pub although here to watch football couples could still enjoy a meal and drink here as not a rowdy football pub. Highly recommend a visit. You do feel welcome.

During our visit to Camber we booked a table at The Owl for dinner. I'm glad we pre-booked as this place is obviously very popular. We had our doubts when we arrived however as there were some rather noisy over excited punters in at the time. Perhaps they were getting a bit excited about the Olympics being shown on one...

Thank you for your feedback, so glad you enjoyed our fresh caught "catch" and time with us. We are a Pub, Grill and also Rooms - the TV area of the bar does show major sporting events for customers (one medium and one small TV), and the Olympics are indeed really exciting this year! We have different "nooks" and alcoves...

The reviews in TripAdvisor and other sources don't speak glowingly about The Owl, and I'd have to agree - it's just average. One beer and a G&T with a seafood platter (to share) maybe isn't a great test of an establishment, but for us it was enough to say; 'we wouldn't go back'. Luke warm welcome, inflexible staff (not with...

Thank you for your review and feedback, its always good to hear our customers and guests views. But it is a pity that you didn't love the seafood platter it is normally quite a popular dish to share. Perhaps we will see you again on a return visit, you would be most welcome.

Had a lovely meal here. Very tasty, nice friendly staff and good service. Limited menu though they offered to cook to our needs if there was something else we wanted. Dog friendly. Will definitely return.

What an excellent B&B The Owl is. Our friendly hosts Madeleine and Peter made us welcome from the minute we arrived, and are brilliant at running this friendly pub and B&B. Superb room, comfiest beds ever and lots of attention to detail that made our stay so enjoyable. Great breakfasts, dinners and a fab Sunday roast. Couldn't imagine how The...

We spent a very pleasant long weekend in this hotel. Our room was clean with excellent en-suite facilities. There is plenty of parking. The food could not be faulted. 11 of us ate here and the food was delicious and the service brilliant. The breakfasts were large, well cooked and presented; it was difficult to restrain the temptation of over...

Visited this pub when we were staying in camber. It's tucked out of the way but worth a visit. Food was tasty and the staff very friendly. It's worth a visit even if it is just for a quite drink,. Don't forget to look on the specials board as well.
