We come to Melbourne every year from Los Angeles, we decided to venture to the Grampians and stumbled across Mokanger. Our family absolutely loved our stay here! They loved playing in the beautiful surroundings, running with the sheep, watching the dogs heard and just getting to disconnect from the world! We loved the cottage where we stayed and it had...

Three Norwegian friends on a-once-in-a-lifetime tour in Australia. A couple of years ago, but it has taken some time before we finally are familiar with Trip advisor. So here is what we did in Victoria: A rental car along the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne. A trip towards Hamilton, Victoria, wool capital of the world. Visited the Wool museum ”Big...

We stayed for four nights Mountain Duck cottage. Very comfortable and everything you could need. The air conditioning was very welcome. The yard was safe for dogs, and it was really lovely to walk along the quiet road at sunset. Lovely towns and the beautiful Grampians not far away.

Our family of 4 (2 boys under 6) stayed at the Mountain Duck cottage, and had a fantastic time. It was lambing season and a highlight of our time was a trip in the ute with Rob to check up on the lambs - our boys loved it and as well as a great holiday saw a sheep station in...

My Husband and I plus our 2 German shepherds had a wonderful stay on the farm. The dogs loved the wide open spaces and we loved the nice secure yard around the cottage. The roaring log fire was lovely and the cottage was very comfortable and homely. We only had 2 nights but are already planning another stay.

We stayed at Mountain Duck Cottage in January with a group of 4 adults and a toddler who had just started walking. Mountain Duck Cottage was found to be clean, comfy and had everything that we needed to feel like we were at home! Jill has thought of all the details when setting up Mountain Duck including a fully equipped...

My husband and I, and my sister and her partner, stayed at the Mountain Duck Cottage over a weekend in late June 2014. It was cold, damp, and substandard accommodation for what we paid (over $700 for two nights). There was a dead mouse in the living room and mouse poison (which my puppy could have easily eaten if not...

I am so sorry that you had such a disappointing stay at Mountain Duck Cottage and unfortunately you didn’t ring us at the time and give us the opportunity to resolve your issues while you were with us. The reverse cycle heating was found to be faulty and immediately fixed. I do have poison for mice in our accommodation in...

We had an amazing 3 night stay at the Stoneycroft Cottage. The cottage was perfect, relaxing, clean, comfortable and cozy. We lit a fire every night and enjoyed roaming around the farm during the day. Easy drive into the Grampians for hikes. The owners are so friendly and took time out of their busy day to take our 3 boys...

A beautiful old blue stone cottage in serene country setting at south end of the Grampians. Situated on a working sheep farm, the cottage is well away from road noise and city lights. All was super clean with good bedding, firm matresses and friendly owners. Cottage has a main double bedroom and a 4-bed bunk. The equally clean adjacent shearers...

Had the pleasure of staying over an extended long weekend at Mountain Duck with my sister and our 3 dogs. Is really a home away from home: modern amenities, clean, comfortable and well furnished - and loved the fire ready (we were earlier than expected so lit it ourselves), wine and chocolate and milk in the fridge (a big yes...
