Our business takes us all over the country, and we have stayed in all sorts of accommodation. Gambles Farm is the best. The welcome is personal with genuine warmth, the bedrooms are equipped with everything you could possibly want, the setting is idyllic, and the breakfast tops it all. Any wonder that we keep returning. Sarah says,"Come as strangers, leave... More

Found on the Internet after a cursory search. What a find, very welcoming hosts and a fantastic room with a very well appointed bathroom. Very quiet but not far from our venue. Breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of cereals and cooked. We will visit again.

We have traveled far and wide but the Gambles Farm Guesthouse is probably the best Guesthouse we have had the pleasure to stay in. A very much 'Darling Buds of May' type property. There are far to many positives and far too many excellent things to say about this 'quintessential' English Guesthouse. Suffice to say we WILL be gong back... More

I've stayed at Gambles Farm several times over the years and can highly recommend it. The accommodation is spacious, very comfortable and immaculately presented with everything anyone could need, including bathrobes and well stocked toiletries. Sarah is a very generous hostess and makes sure you feel right at home. Breakfast, which you eat in the garden room while looking out... More

I must say that Gambles Farm is a wonderful place to stay with excellent accommodation. The room I had (Queen) was spacious and clean with a great sitting area. I will most definitely be staying again. Superb breakfast with eggs laid that morning.

My husband and I came to Gambles Farm 10 years ago for our 15th wedding anniversary and paid a return visit for our 25th. It was like we'd never been away. Sarah and Nick are very welcoming and possibly the most generous hosts you'd ever wish to meet. We stayed in The King Suite and it was a very comfortable... More

We stayed in the King room. It was warm, spacious and very well equipped, with an immaculate, modern ensuite. Bed comfortable, toiletries provided too. On the landing, there was a fridge and microwave for guests to use, and fresh milk was supplied. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Sarah was welcoming and helpful but not at all intrusive, just perfect. We... More

I can find nothing to criticise about this outstanding B&B. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious, and of excellent quality. The food was also excellent and there was plenty of it. The hosting was friendly and nothing was too small to notice - I was 8 months pregnant at the time of our visit and was even asked... More
