Lovely spot, as advertised. Wonderful hosts: delicious home-baked blueberry pound cake, Afghan cookies, breakfast muffins. Wonderful suggestions for "things to do." Happily shared their kitchen and barbie! Friendly, personable host and hostess.

We recently stayed two comfortable nights at the Lodge. Our hosts Greg and Allie were very friendly and served excellent breakfasts. They provided very useful advice about the sites to see in the area. We enjoyed walking the beach that is just across the road. We can recommend the nearby Flatwhite Cafe for dinner with a sea view and the... More

We spent 3 days in freezing weather at Waihi Beach, but Greg and Ali made our stay warm and very pleasant. Their breakies were fantastic and we arrived home each day to a baked surprise in our room. The room was really comfortable with those little extras that not everyone thinks of, like a beach bag and an umbrella. Their... More

We were there on July 2016 on our honeymoon, we spent one night and everything was awesome. Nice place, in front of the beach, and the best part was the couple who manage the B&B. In New Zealand everybody is nice, but they were the nicest hosts of the whole trip, it was really sad to leave the B&B

I had a wonderful 2 night stay in this idyllic spot. Greg and Ali couldn't have been nicer and served a great breakfast with homemade muffins. The beach is beautiful and it's a short drive to the village for dinner...The Porch is the best. The bed is very comfortable, the shower powerful, and there is strong free internet.
