We stayed at Sunseeker Lodge over Easter Weekend. Karen & Evan couldn't do enough to help with directions, advice and are just lovely people. Our room was simple, but spotlessly clean. Our first time at Whangaroa Harbour and what a unique place. We were lucky to get out on the water for a fish and to check out the stunning...

Stayed one night in one of the cabins. Friendly welcome from owner, who gave me a tour of the site. Room was pretty basic but all other amenities were adjacent: full kitchen, bathroom, sitting area. My bed was very comfortable and a fan was provided to cool things down. Wifi, although limited, worked fine for me. I took the walk...

3 friends and I spent two nights at the Sunseeker Lodge for a fishing weekend. The hosts are very friendly and make you feel right at home. Our room was immaculate and the beds were all very comfortable. No problems at all and will definitely be back. Great value and a beautiful place to get away for the weekend. Highly...

We stayed 2 nights in a one bedroom apartment. Unit was clean. Kitchenette was adequate. There is small table and chairs just outside the door, which was a great place to enjoy the view with a beer or wine. Short walk to the marina where you can get a drink or food.

We found this lodge to be set in idyllic bush with beautiful views of the harbour. The hosts were lovely and very accommadtating. Would recommend this accommodation. Unit was well appointed and spotless with free wifi and cooking facilities plus a outdoor spa set in a pagoda like structure. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Rented a small apartment here which had the most comfortable bed, was clean nicely decorated and spacious. The view of the harbour from the lovely garden and from the spa are beautiful. The spa is spotless and the water was changed whilst I was there. The backpackers space was also recently refurbished. Proprietors really friendly and helpful. Dont rely on...

We have just stayed at Sunseeker Lodge and had a lovely time, On arrival we were told we had been upgraded, as we had only booked for one night, and another couple wanted the room we had booked for four - not a problem. We were upgraded from a one bedroom to a four bedroom and had lots of living...

I don't usually post negative reviews but I want to share my recent experience. I can't comment on the facilities as I didn't get to stay there. I read good things about this lodge and booked a room 24 hours in advance online via the lodge's own website for one night, paying in full and booking was accepted with money...

This place can only be booked by coming into town directly, according to Karen, the owner. I drove into Whangaroa without a place to stay and the nice lady at the General Store at the beginning of town recommended it. Just follow to the road to Old Hospital Road and just drive on up :) They're remodeling, but the view...
