Stayed 1 night We are upgraded to a superior room. Room is basic, spacious, clean and air conditioning is good. Quiet surrounding though our room faced the pool but sound proofing quite alright. Worth a stay at good price! We paid less than SGD75 for a night/ without breakfast. Walking distance to One nimman and the Maya mall is just 5mins by walking. Mall opens 10am and there are food courts (expensive), restaurants, cafes, bakery, pharmacy and supermarket

Two nights in standard twin room. Breakfast not included. Pros: Able to get our room early. Good location. Cons: shower turns all the way to get marginal lukewarm shower. Cover from the electric socket at pantry is missing, can't boil water for a cuppa. (They should fix it before someone get hurt). Room at low-level facing adjacent condo and an open drainage between buildings. NOT worth USD57+ per night. Something to think about: does your hotel booking apps always give you poor quality room? Or does the problem belong to the hotel's front desk/ reservation?

Stayed here in April and it was not a totally good experience for me. PROS The location of the hotel is very close to MAYA Shopping center and very near restaurants (Think Park) and Nimman so that is good. The rooms are big, the swimming pool is nice, the reception is well lit and the breakfast, although the same everyday, is decent and good enough for the price. CONS The airconditioning sucks big time. We booked for a triple sharing room but the aircon was not getting cold. When we called the reception and asked to be moved to another room, they said all the rooms were full so I had to engage in a not so nice conversation with their frontdesk first and tried to explain that we couldnt stay in that room and sleep in that heat. That was the only time they agreed to move us to a family room. The Family room had two adjacent rooms but like the first room assigned to us, the aircons of both rooms didnt get cold. it's like the aircon is on forever "fan" even if we set it to "cool". When we complained, they gave me the weirdest and illogical answer - "do not set it to 18C but set it to 21C". I was like, is 21C much cooler than 18C? and they said when you set it to 21C, it will get cold eventually. So I set it to 21C and alas, it never got cold. It was a nightmare on our first night to sleep in that heat specially during the summer heat of Chiangmai. On our second night, I had to ask for electric fans for both our rooms and they gladly gave me one for each room but that was the first time that I experienced an electric fan in a hotel because they couldn't fix their airconditioning problem. We were visiting Chiangmai for 6D/5N and I tried this hotel because of the pictures I saw online. While the pictures are accurate, it's the amenities inside the room that is the problem and the staff couldnt do anything about it. I'm so glad I only booked for 3D/2N in this hotel because it would've been a nightmare if we stayed here for the whole duration of our trip. After 3 days, we moved to a much better hotel where guests comfort is a priority. If you're visiting Chiangmai and looking at this hotel, you better think twice.

It is a clean hotel with clean rooms. Some of the staff was helpful but the staff that was at the breakfast every morning wasn’t polite and never had a good mood!!! Also at reception smells very bad probably because of the toilets!!

If you are looking for a clean place offering great value-for-money in a convenient place look no further. We booked a Twin and Triple room and were given rooms on the third floor. The rooms were both of great size with the triple not only offering a shower but also a bathtub. Both rooms had balconies; unfortunately no chairs were provided and the double only had one desk chair. The bed was nice but a little on the firm side for my taste. The TV offered a few international channels. The internet speed was amazing, I easily reached 90 on the download which must be the highest I have ever encountered. The room has a hair dryer and safe but no iron is provided (maybe we could have asked for one). The restaurant is currently only open for breakfast but with so many food options within easy reach this is not really a problem. We also saw some food being delivered so that would be another option. The staff were amazing, from check-in to the bell boy (kudos for having this in a *** hotel) and I want to thank the morning buffet team for being amazing! Talking about breakfast. The staple on the buffet was mostly the same every day (with small variations) but what stood out is the daily offer of hot main courses with a changing daily offer. Quite amazing for a hotel of this standard. The hotel also has a very nice pool area (which we unfortunately did not have time to check out). Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Thanks to the Hotel Mayu team for a great experience.

We loved this hotel, the room was so clean and spacious. The breakfast was really nice too. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Great location, right next to the Maya shopping centre. We ate at a street market just across the road, it was amazing, really cheap and had a good atmosphere. We recommend to anyone, and will definitely return in the future.

Great location near Maya Shopping mall and one nimman, so you can shopping and eating around just in few minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel look quite new and the guest room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staffs here are friendly and always willing to help. We booked the room with breakfast buffet, it was tasty and good enough. So, we had a pleasant stay here for 3 nights.

I had stayed in this hotel for 3 nights recently with my wife. I had a really nice experience here and would highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Chiang Mai. Our check-in was seamless and quick and we were helped to our room by a member of hotel staff. The usual. The rooms are basic but of a really good standard with comfy beds. The hotel was kept immaculately clean and this of course extended to the rooms. It’s a standard hotel room but it’s really nice. The hotel has a really good quality gym. Myself and my wife used this each morning to start off our day. The quality of the machinery is really good and a TV is present if you wish to watch something while working out. The breakfast buffet was of a really good standard with a good range to choose from. They had good coffee also. I didn’t eat anything else while staying other than the breakfast as the hotel is located well and has a huge shopping centre (Maya Lifestyle) that has places to eat. There’s also lovely food markets and street food that you can avail of. Overall it was a really good stay here.

The location of the hotel is within 30 minutes of distance from the airport, also near to a big mall and a night food street as well as walking street with shops selling creative things. The room is big with a balcony, the design of the hotel is very relaxed. I would stay in this hotel again if I come to Chiang Mai next time.
