We traveled as a family and stayed 5 days at Troutbeck Resort. It is situated in a very scenic part of the country. A gorgeous view of the mountains awaits you if your room opens to the lawn facing the lake. The resort is quite elegant and very well maintained despite its age. The staff are very helpful and friendly....

Troutbeck is set amidst beautiful upland scenery. We had a room with French windows opening onto a lawn that led down to the artifical lake stocked with trout, making it possible to go for a barefoot walk on the grass before breakfast - a lovely way to wake up. Unfortunately even though it is a very large establishment the hotel...

Our room had a back door and patio that faced the river, just beyond the swimming pool. Inside the room was an alcove with a third bed that had the lovely river view. The beds had electric blankets, there was coffee in the room, the television and cable worked well, and we had free Internet. The fireplace in the lobby...

Troutbeck was such a high of our family holiday! We spent a week end in this little corner of paradise that has so much to offer: golf, fly fishing, tennis, canoeing, horse riding and more.....despite the hotel being very busy for a wedding celebration, the service was impeccable, professional and friendly. The hotel has an old charm feeling and the...

This hotel has always been my favorite . It is beautifully maintained and the staff is great . This time round I found the food quality average whereas in the past it has always been above average. This needs to be rectified .

This place is a haven in the mountains. Very clean and well-equipped. Lovely staff. The best place to be for peace and quiet. Lovely afternoon tea is served with a view of the mountains and definitely something that should be on your to-do list.

Spent 10 days at this lovely resort, loved everything about it. Starting with the fireplace by the main desk that was lit in 1951 and has never gone out to the incredible spread of food in their breakfast and evening buffet, this is a place you will not want to leave. the staff is fabulous and helpful, electric heating pads...

My wife and I went to Troutbeck on our honeymoon and I'm glad to say we were not disappointed in the least. The Nyanga weather lived up to its billing. Be that as it may, our stay at the Resort more than made up for it. From the minute we got there to the time we checked out the staff...
