Its a park with a Forest were you can do many outdoor actividies and enjoy the view of the lake and if you want to stay there.You can rent cabins their and stay for nights. Go for an amazing adventure At zirahuens forest resort

We went for the weekend. We left from Zamora Mexico and used our Nissan X-Trail's navigation to get there. That was a no no. Took me down 2 dirt roads and a really bad detour town. You drive into the town of Zirahuen and follow the road that was built around the lake to get to the Resort. We went...

This resort it spread out across various locations surrounding Lago de Zirahuan. We stayed in a large cabin/house on the main site, which also houses reception and one of the restaurants were we had a tasty breakfast. After checking out we drove around to the Alpine site where we had a lovely walk through the forest down to a pier...

Off the beaten path, about 20 minutes from Patzcuaro by taxi (beware: taxis have a hard time finding this place) on yet another lake. We had a cabin for 4 with fireplace (smoke came into the room so we weren't sure if it was the chimney or our skills at fault). Staff extremely helpful. Breakfast is available at a cost...
