We cannot fault one element of our stay at The Royal Santrain. From the charming welcome ceremony, to the exceptional service throughout, this was the ultimate in luxury and extraordinary service and attention to detail. Our villa was enormous, and absolutely exquisite, the food exceptional. The staff knew us by name by the second day and nothing was too much trouble - even the constant requests for ice buckets to our room several times a day! The hotel and gardens are incredibly beautiful, and watching the sunrise and sunset at the beach bar was iconic. Thank you to everyone at The Royal Santrain for the most exceptional holiday. We cannot wait to return.

This was our first visit to Bali and we decided to choose a small and luxurious resort. After some research, we decided on The Royal Santrian Villas. We arrived early evening and were greeted by about 3 members of staff. We were encouraged to participate in the creation of our welcome cocktail, it was delicious. Dian then took us through the check-in process and escorted us to our villa. When we saw the villa with its own pool and outdoor area, we knew we had made the right choice. The following morning when we saw the resort in daylight we were very impressed with the manicured gardens and its peaceful position beside the beach. We likened the resort to a very quiet retreat. The villa was very spacious and luxurious. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had some really good sleeps. The bathroom area was the biggest we have ever seen and towels were replaced twice a day. Our minibar, fruit bowl and biscuit barrel were replenished daily and we received a very good supply of drinking water. The pool and outside area was amazing. Our package included breakfast and afternoon tea. The breakfast menu was substantial with six hot specials changing daily, this was over and above the normal choice of eggs etc. Everything was cooked to order and delicious. We only had afternoon tea 3 or 4 times and it also was delicious and beautifully presented in a bird cage. Every member of staff, from security guards and gardeners, to management were extremely friendly and knew us by name within a couple of days. We did one of the hotels private tour packages which included a meal on our return. Juli was our driver and guide and he looked after us extremely well, including helping to get my specs back after a monkey stole them at Uluwatu Temple! We chose to have the meal in our villa and it was delicious. On another day Tara took us on a bespoke trip which was excellent. Again he looked after us very well in particular assisting my husband after he tripped and cut his knee. We had two visits to the spa and both treatments were excellent. Cocktails at the Allspice restaurant were particularly enjoyable. We would recommend The Royal Martini. This resort is a popular wedding venue and it was interesting to see a typical Indonesian wedding. We had a fantastic holiday and we would like to thank Mr Suardi Yasa, Front Office Manager for his generosity and attention. We would definitely return to Royal Santrian should we find ourselves in that neck of the woods again. …

We held a wedding party here. With 200 guests. At first we were a bit worried about mosquitos, but they did the best preparation so there were no mosquitos during the party. The food was superb, the service is top scored. Everything is according to plan. Our guests are very happy. We are very satisfied.

Beyond Perfect - A luxury boutique hotel with an amazing pool and right on the beach. We booked a villa with a pool facing the ocean, outdoor space with a covered section, and easy access to an outdoor shower. (I believe all rooms have a plunge pool). Room - The room was well appointed with your glass doors facing the pool/ocean. The bathroom was large and the walking shower had a door leading to a private outdoor shower. The Shower area was also accessible from the pool area (with a lockable door). Grounds - For a smaller hotel, the pool was large in size and had a great design with the hot tub emerging from the center of the pool. Their restaurant/bar had indoor and outdoor seating with a lounge area that opened to the patio. The food never disappointed, the sushi was great (didn't get us sick, which raw sushi was a concern with traveling overseas), and the tepanyaki was served as you'd expect from a five-star location. Staff/ Service - I wished I had written this review sooner as the names of those who took care of us escape me now, but from the attentiveness to the happy personas, we felt right at home. The area the hotel is in is not in the party areas. But after spending part of an afternoon in Kuta, we were definitely okay with this. …

This resort is absolutely lovely! The staff is so friendly, polite and willing to go the extra mile for their guests. We had an amazing stay here in September 2023, allowing us to relax and escape the city life. The villa we booked was very clean, with fresh towels all the time, afternoon tea (complementary) with sweets and little bites, complementary mini-bar and complementary transport service in the Nusa Dua area. The private pool was also a very nice plus. Whatever we asked, the staff always tried their best to accomodate. Breakfast is very rich and nicely cooked, with a variety of pastries and egg types, fresh fruit and juices..and nice coffee. If we decide to visit the area again, this resort would be at the top of our list as place to stay at. Highly recommended.

Nothing less then perfect. The resort (I cannot call it hotel as it is constituted only by private villas) is wonderful, not only the exceptional villas but also the pool, the restaurants and the seaside. Wonderful also all the staff, always ready for any request or suggestion. Definitely best in Nusa Dua. The beach is ok, unfortunately the sea is full of water sport small boats with their gasoline smell and not the best in the area. But after you enter Royal Santrian you will simply not want to go out!

We stayed at The Royal Santrian at the beginning of June and what a stay we had! From the moment we walked through the door until we left we have been treated like royalty. The girls in the reception are so sweet and lovely and they are ready to help at anytime. The guys in the restaurant are always ready to help and the managers are the nicest. Wetana and Tara were so lovely and spent a lot of time with myself and Zak going through the menu and catering for our needs, nothing was too much for them. The food they serve is absolutely amazing and tasteful, we enjoyed every second of it. They have a 24h butler service and every time you call there is someone there to help and ready to make your life easier. They organised a day trip for us to go snorkelling and visiting another island. The ladies in the Spa were amazing as well. They also have the driver service which took us around to lovely restaurants and came to collect us and a big thank you to all the team for finding Zak a tailor to make his patchwork jacket dream come true and for taking him back and forth. Not to mention the guys that were cleaning the villa and the swimming pool everyday, they were very polite, sweet and ready to help so thank you. We do not have enough words to thank you all for the amazing stay we had at The Royal Santrian and I wish we could go back 5 times a year to spend more time there. The personnel at the Royal Santrian are wonderful! They made us feel like royalty and family at the same time. The villa and pool was spacious and beautiful; breakfast was incredible; restaurant, bar, pool all great! The small number of villas made the personal touch even more special, but still had everything you could want. We loved our driver, Adip, who took us on great tours around the area and shopping. The highlight was the cooking class with Chef Sandi.....went to the fish market to select our lunch, came back and prepared a delicious lunch on the beach. It was sooooo good! We can't wait to go back.

Beautiful hotel with amazing service. The staff were truly nice and helpful and were able to accomdate for everything we requested. Especially our driver and guide Hari did a great job and showed us different parts of the island. Due to the limited number of guests the resort feels like a little village and there is always enough space at the pool or on the beach terrace. The villas with pool and outdoor shower are beautiful and clean. We will make sure to come back as soon as possible :)
