Secluded spots between high flax hedges provide quiet and restful spaces for our camper van. Facilities block had everything required but a bit clunky. Sticking doors and insufficient space for clothes in the showers are negatives. It’s such a great spot though that short comings...More
Travelling around the South Island we were told not to stay at this camp as the facilities were very poor. However we looked at later reviews and saw that there was a new ablution block so decided to stay. Unfortunately we didn't ask to have...More

Hi there, I'm sorry I missed your question. I actually have no idea about whether they are two separate grounds but we stayed at the one closest to the petrified Forest where the penguins are so assume they are the same. We didn't book but then I'm not sure whether it's busier for the camper vans - we were in a tent so just tried our luck and it worked out. Perhaps email them and query but it was a beautiful spot and I'd highly recommend it. Have a wonderful holiday :)
