Even though we went off season and the park was very quiet, Sue and Colin made us very welcome. It is a lovely quiet, well kept river-side site in a beautiful setting. We read that you could see platypus in the river if you were lucky, and we obviously were as each time we went down to the river we...

This place has everything you need to camp. The hosts Sue and Colin are amazing, making you feel home. Prices are economical and has all the needed amenities.Planning to visit again. Walk around the town and the historical bridge makes your stay more pleasant. And the snowy river itself is a charm.

We look forward to your return trip. The colours in the park and around Dalgety are fantastic at present. The trout are really biting as well. Some good size fish caught recently.

Although this was planned to be a free-camping holiday, we ended up staying two nights in Dalgety. Sue and Colin were outstanding hosts, and they have turned the park into a superbly clean and beautiful spot. Thank you both.

Snowy River Holiday Park is one of those little gems that do still exist. The park is situated on the banks of the Snowy River although we did not see a platypus the serenity of the park and friendly owners Sue and Colin more than made up for this. The clean amenities, beautiful scenery, quiet surroundings and great help and...

Thank you - we have to leave something for you to do next time! The platypus may not be so shy next time. See you soon.

An absolutely lovely find - really friendly owners, superb riverside walk and if you have the patience wild platypus to see swimming and feeding. Really good pub food directly opposite, spotlessly clean amenities - we just wish we could have stayed longer. We were in a motor home and had a good level powered site. The week before our nephew...

Thanks for staying with us and I would agree you have to be patient to see the platypus but I think the wait is worth seeing them in their habitat. Hope to see you again.

If you're travelling around this area, this is a fabulous place to stay. From the stunning drive here, to the great hospitality, and amenities that are spotless, the garden-like grounds, and the Snowy River at the bottom of garden to paddle or swim in. Cafe, pub, but peace and serenity. And oh, those starry skies at night. Thanks, Colin &...

Three peaceful nights at this park were so appreciated! Sue and Colin run a tight ship, the amenities - although a bit far from the camping area - were spotless at all times and the camp kitchen was the best set up I have encountered so far. A good swimming spot and the historic pub are close by and established...

Hi Pam, thanks for that. Unfortunately the way the park is set up was before our time so we have to make the best of what we have. We figure though the up side is the Camp Kitchen is close to the unpowered area. Hope to see you again soon as you live so close.

It was nice to see operators (Sue & Colin) not so interested in all the bells and whistles. They have lifted the bar for some of the larger parks by their approach to customer service and what they provide - also gave an honest and courteous welcome to one of the best kept secrets in small van parks in NSW......
