Arrived on our cycles to a friendly welcome and cold beer, was shown to our lovely air-conditioned room (sheer luxury after a 60km cycle on a very hot day) and shown over the family home that was lovingly restored. The dinner recommendation for dinner was great and the breakfast terrific. We would definitely stay again.
After a long hot day of cycling this air-conditioned retreat was wonderful. We were warmly greeted with cool drinks, shown to a beautifully restored room overlooking a courtyard in the hosts family compound. The breakfast was sensational and the restaurant recommendation superb. Highly recommended.
This is a nice Bead and Breakfast when you are on your way to Spain for example. The couple who owns the place is doing everything to make you happy. The B&B is situated in a beautifull typical Southern French village.
Great place. For us an overnight stop. But great rooms good beds nice owner and excellent breakfast with homemade marmalade. And so quiet and all round old school French. Parking can be a bit difficult. And you got to ring to get in. But these are minor things.. Oh and a nice cold beer as a welcome... Highly recommended
February 23, 2013 my husband and I along with his mother stayed at La Cle des Chants in Vergeze on route to Lourdes, France. Our flight had been cancelled pushing back our stay at each B&B. The owners of La Cle des Chants were more than helpful in adjusting our dates and drove out to help us when we were lost in the middle of the night driving through Languedoc! Their food was fresh and of the utmost quality. They thought of everything we needed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this lovely B&B, the hospitality of the owners, the cleanliness of the rooms and the peace that we enjoyed for two nights in this lovely town of Vergeze.
